I recall my first double floppy IBM PC in 1984 and using Compuserve on a 1200 modem. Switched to Prodigy with something of a graphical interface in '86.

To answer an earlier question, I still browse RADP from time to time.

I remember a particularly good BBS system here in NE Ohio. I spent hours reading about all sorts of subjects that people were posting about. I was also an early CompuServe user. I remember making an online plane reservation using Easy Sabre over 13 years ago. It is SO much simpler to do that today.

The invention of the web browser has certainly opened up the internet to a lot more people than the original techo-geeks that used to surf the web barefoot.

The most amazing thing in my mind is that the internet and all the fun technology that goes with it allowed my uncle Peter to create the DIS and Dreams Unlimited Travel and allow all of us to meet and talk....way to go Uncle Peter!!!!

wow 10 years! I know that I have been on the web for at least 8 1/2 years because I remember surfing (and using Prodigy) when I was pregnant with my eldest.

It is amazing, Dan. I can't imagine not having the internet yet I lived 3/4 of my life without it just fine.
