Are there anniversary pins (or buttons), like the birthday buttons available?

Thanks for the info. I did not know they did that...very cool.

YC CL surprised us with YC happy anniversary pins this past Feb. :goodvibes They are most definitely available.

Lizboo I know your question has already been answered but I just wanted to offer my congratulations on 10 years of marriage.:cheer2:

DH and I are going in early July for 4 days to celebrate our 10th anniversary (it's early as our anniv is actually 12/27).

I would love to get pins for our anniversary.

Do we have to tell them ahead of time or when we get there? We're new DVC members staying at BCV.

Tracey

The pins are really cute-they're bright pink with Mickey and Minnie holding hands. I got ours at Town Hall in MK on my solo trip in January. This way DH and I can start wearing ours (25th) as soon as we hit WDW property!

Congrats on your 10th!!

You don't need to tell them ahead of time. They're also available for the asking at the Guest Services desk at any of the parks. We had our Honeymoon (which we actually took on our 4th anniversary because we got married when DH was starting his first year of law school) at WDW and have gone for our anniversary every year since.

We are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year also and going to Wilderness Lodge to celebrate. Congrats!

We'll be celebrating our 10th (child free trip! ) in May! I can't wait!

Congrats to you. I am very proud of my 10 years and you should be too!

Well how cool to find this thread, I was just about to post something similar!! We are ALSO going in October for our ten year anniversary! Congrats to you all!:thumbsup2

This will be the first time we have gone without kids for over 10 years! Our first thought was that we could "relax". Then we said "heck no", we're going to burn the candle and both ends and do all of that stuff we haven't been able to do with the kids in tow! :rotfl: No more mid day naps or early evenings...we're going to do it all since we can! :woohoo: A 15 hour day at WDW with no kids in tow is EASY!

With that being said...what are some of the special restaurants or show are y'all planning on experiencing? I definitely want to go to Brown Derby and get priority seating at Fantasmic!

Happy Anniversary!

We love the FDP at HBD! I think you will, too.

We are doing a Segway tour of the WS at Epcot...it is a 2 hour tour, around $70 (I forget exactly) and you must be 16 years or older to do it. there are some other cool tours you may want to look into. Allearsnet.com is a good source of info.

Also, you may want to check out Jellyrolls on the boardwalk...dueling piano bar.

Funny, since we are alone we plan on lounging by the pool, taking midday naps and being LAZY!:cloud9: Our special events (besides the Segway Tour) just involve dining. V&A's the night of our actual anniversary, Blue Zoo the next night and Bistro De Paris the final night!

We are staying at the Dolphin. I am excited, it will be our first time there.

My trip is in TWO WEEKS! I will report back to you!

We are also celebrating our early 10th in May(9-27).Also it is my DS 5th while we are there.Any suggestions on making it special for both celebrations?I want to make our anniversary special too.

If he does not have any separation anxiety (my DD never did) you should leave him in a kid's club one night. Where are you staying? We like to leave DD at a kid's club in the same resort we are staying in, and have a nice dinner, with drinks, and maybe even go back to the room for some "alone time."

If you dine at Blue Zoo (a phenomenal restaurant) or Shula's...both in the Dolphin...you can get 2 hours of "Camp Dolphin" for free. It is usually $11 an hour for all the kid's clubs.

My DD is an only child, so she loves the kid's clubs and asks to stay at them everytime we go to WDW. She has stayed at Sandacstle (Y&BC) and Simba's (AKL) and Cub's Den) (WL) as well as Camp Dolphin.

Happy anniversary! have fun!

We're doing California Grill one evening and should catch the fireworks from MK from there. We're also doing Marrakesh and Sci fi Drive In during our 10th anniversary trip.

Congrats everyone!

Tracey

We have reservations on our anniversary night at Victoria and Alberts and we are taking the Segway tour and the KTTK tour. Thanks to Disney dining, we are eating at some of the restaurants we have not tried yet, such as Narcoosee's, Citricos, California Grill, etc. Also, we are eating at the Brown Derby as part of the Fantasmic dinner and will be attending MNSSHP. I am getting tired just writing of all that down, but it will be worth it. :thumbsup2

we are going to celebrate our 8th anniversary at the WL.. which actually falls on the Tuesday of the week we are there.. I cant' wait.. how magical!
