10 year old eating off childs menu

I have a question that I'm sure has been asked before but I don't have time to search right now. I have a 10 year old daughter that eats like a bird. If we are NOT on the meal plan can she order off the kids menus at table service resturants?

We asked at the 50's Prime Time over Thanksgiving and they did let our 10 year old order from the kids menu.

Did you have to pay adult price for the kids meal or the regular price? I'm trying to ball park the food expense for the trip.

We just returned and my 11 yr. old ordered off the children's menu the whole time - the restaurants had no problem with it. And I paid the children's menu price. Now, if you're at a buffet, it doesn't matter how much your child eats - if they're 9 or over, you'll get charged the adult price.

Same for us. We've been here 7 days so far and our 11 year old has been allowed to order for child's menu every time. Just let the server know that you're NOT on the dining plan and ask if your child can order off the child's menu.
