I went to target 7.99 plus tax for the combo pack after both the target coupon and the disney one. No problems I never have a problem at target using the coupons. Toys r us sounds like a headache.

Ugh. I pre-ordered, paid cash. Think they'll let me have my deposit back so I can just go to WM or Target and use the coupon and be done? LOL This sounds like it is causing far more hassle then it's worth. FWIW, I will try it to see if mine does it but if not I would rather just walk on the deal and get it elsewhere. I don't really WANT a TRU giftcard so it doesn't matter to me

Yup, I had problems too! My receipt was soooo confusing. My total for the tink movie and pre-ordering BATB was $10. I knew it should have been $5.
+ $29.99 (cost of tink)
- $10.00 pre-order amt/
- $10.00 credit for pre-ordering BATB
- $10.00 manf. coupon
+ $5.00 BATB pre-order

$5.00 total (They wouldn't let me use the $5/$25 coupon. I decided it wasn't worth the argument)

Somehow my pre-order $10 was deducted as $4.99. I asked the manager to please explain the receipt to me b/c it is VERY confusing. After looking at it, he agreed it wasn't right. Then it took him forever to try to figure out how to credit me $5 back. He finally just opened the register and handed me money. I don't know if I'm going to bother with trying to pick up BATB.

Now, I hope BaTB goes just as smoothly with the $10.00 coupon, the giftcard and TS3 preorder.

Our Toys R Us would not let me use the $10 for BaTB pre-order. He said I already purchased when I prepurchased - therefore I was not purchasing a new movie at that time. Target's double coupons would have been a better deal for me.

UGH! I'm so disappointed in TRUS. Why can't they make a company-wide decision on how they are going to handle these? It really should be straight forward and simple.

I will stop by tomorrow to pick up my Tink and hopefully it all goes smoothly.

I had no issues at TRU.
You have to do it in a specific order. I $5 reward money too. They just did 3 transactions and gave me $9+tax as a media exchange.

The manager than did a media exchange and gave me the $5 reward money +tax and the $4 price match.

Make them do it in multiple transactions. I have had the worst trouble at Target and DVD coupons. I bought Princess and the Frog, TS1, and TS2 on blu-ray and had 3 coupons. It took 2 managers and nearly an hour for them to figure it out. It was not worth the 2 $5 GC at that point and time.

I picked up mine yesterday and purchased a few Zhu Zhu things, sure enough when I got home I overpaid by $10! I called the store and they said I could come in for a refund, I said no way that I live 20 minutes away and have no plans for being near there the rest of the week. The manager ended up giving my card a credit over the phone. Now I am watching my credit card like a hawk to see if it actually shows up....

I never had problems with TRU preorders before!

Thanks so much for posting this but for me, it does not pull up the $5 coupon for Target? Is anyone else getting the coupon? It links me to the thread where people are talking about it and I've skimmed the posts several times and still can't find the coupon even after searching? HELP!!

I'm headed to Target today in a couple hours and would love to have this before leaving if anyone can help me find it or tell me specifically what I should type to find it?

I am heading out to my TRU tomorrow morning after I drop the kids off at school. I hope that it all goes well, I have never done the Pre-order thing at TRU, and from some of the posts I guess now I know why!
