$10 Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Blu-ray coupon now live

Has anyone tried to get TRUS to price match to Target's lower (I think it was $22.99) price? I'm going to try later today or tomorrow and will let you know.

I feel like we are part of an army on a combat mision -- "Now Entering Phase 2 Purchasing Tink and pre-order B&B".:rotfl:

Wow! Thats awesome that yours had it on sale on 26.99! I can't believe the others don't have it for that price too! Did you get a watch with it?

Yeah, I thought it was weird, because the price marked on the front of the disc was $29.99 and there was no display saying it was $26.99, but the computer rang it up as on sale. And, yes, I forgot to mention that I got the watch as well! :woohoo:

I had to go to the section of the store where the video games are to pick it up. The only ones in the display case were DVDs. I think they hold the Blurays behind the counter as loss prevention...

Wow! you guys did great! Wish I had a TRU closer than 45 minutes away to take advantage of all these great deals!!!

That had me on the floor laughing...

I got mine today and some tag books....wish I would've thought to use 3 mfq as it seemed to work for others..oh well still a great deal. Ours was 29.99 and they refunded me .01 since the 10 preorder, 10 BaTB, 10 coupon was 30...thought that was funny and got the watch and gift card not a bad deal...I also forgot to bring the 5 off 25 coupon but I'll use it a different time.

Grrr... I'm so mad at myself. So the printer hasn't been used in months, and actually I was the last one to use it. But I totally forgot about it being out of ink. I tried printing it twice, once was a fast print and then I tried to up the quality hoping it would use the color to fill in for the black. Neither one of them worked, so I have two barely visible pieces of paper.

Bought the ink today, loaded it in, and now I can't print another copy from the website. I even tried the "share" thing, however since I'm using the same computer, it just automatically logs into my DMR account and goes right back to the beginning.

I need two copies because I'm getting two sets. I already have the deposit down, and I can't wait for it to come in the mail because it has to be done before the 27th to get the gift card.

Is there any way to reset the account?? If I create a new DMR account will it still let me print or is it through coupon.com and the IP address of this computer?

And for anyone looking, target has the Tink movie on sale for 22.99, with the 10$ coupon, 13 bucks isn't a bad price either. I'm going to take the ad with me and see if they'll price match it down. Sometimes I've heard if they price match, they won't stack the promotion on top.

I did my preorder for Tink 9/19/10. $10 deposit

Today, I went in with my Disney $10 coupon.
Tried ordering beauty and the beast, couldn't because out of cards to do preorder. Decided to do Toy Story 3 preorder. My final price after paying for Tink Dvd, Toystory deposit $5+ $1.59(aquafina water)=$6.59
Then, I didn't get the $10 gift card, so I was refunded $10.83

So, I only paid $10 that I had initially put as my deposit on 9/19/10 for the Tink Bluray?:surfweb:

Hopefully someone understands the breakdown on my ToyRUs receipt...my scanner is not working.

Tink Fairy BD/DVD $9.99 T1
Toy Story 3 Promo $29.99-$10.00
Tinkerbell 3 Promo $19.99-$0.00
Balance Due $19.-$10.00
Prsell toy story 3 $5.00
aquafina $1.59
Tinkerbell 3 promo $9.99-$9.99
Vendor coupon $10.00 T1
Subtotal $6.58
T1 Tax $0.12
Total $6.70

Ugh, I just went through the biggest mess at the Springfield MO TRU. In the future, after this entire deal is done with, I may never go back there. It wasn't worth the hour I spent arguing with them.

I'll try to keep this short. Get there and the guy tells me up front that I can't get the GC if I use the coupon. Blah blah blah, Disney had too much fraud, I agrued (nicely) that these were two different deals, yada yada. A girl over hears me and said she just got done talking to the manager about the same problem. Argue with the guy some more, she says she's calling corporate. So she gets transferred many times not getting anywhere because no one knows what they doing, then she gets cut off from them. So we start looking at the card and I said I don't think they are ringing it up in the right order because that is very important. Get someone else up there (this is in the back by the dvds) and he says he'll have to have the manager try. Manager comes back, more arguing. More crap about can't combine promotions. I said it's on sale at Target for $26.99 and that's a promotion but they will still take the coupon. Then we show him the bottom where it has the order of operations and I notice that the second bar code on the preorder is for the GC. I never even looked at it, I saw the first guy cover it to ring it up and I assumed it was for the DVD version. So I told him that my guy didn't even scan the GC barcode. So we all trek up front with only one set of everything (bluray/BATB preorder card) to try at customer service. Magically they got the GC to work after scanning the GC barcode. Shocking huh? :( So the other girl goes ahead and buys it because they were using her preorder card. The total was $10.00 which I thought was wrong, but then assumed I'd been dealing with this BS so long, I just couldn't remember correctly. So we go to the back to do the deal with me. It rings up $5.00. He immediately cancels it because the other girls was $10 so mine should be too. He continued to do the deal but now it was only taking my manu. coupon off as $4.99. He started getting pissy and said he'd only do the deal one more time and that she paid $10 so that's what it should be. Finally, he did it again, $10...I said F-it, paid the $10 and left. I used to live in KC where there were plenty of TRU stores (none of which I ever had problems with) but now in Spfld there is only 1 store. :( What a freaking nightmare. I may wait a few days to get my BATB and let everyone else argue thier way into it because I'm tired of arguing with them. It sucked. :( After this is over, I may be sticking with Walmart and Target!!!

we spent WAY too much time at TRU this afternoon trying to figure this out and how to make it work. The manager was extremely nice about the whole thing and we tried it more than 10 different ways (really! LOL) to make it come out 'right'. There was no way it was going to work to stack the pre-orders w/ the coupon w/ the pre-order movie and the GC. We gave it our best shot though. :thumbsup2

Anyway, what I ended up doing was:
Tink 29.99
- $10 pre-order
- $10 TS3 pre-order promo
- $10 coupon
+ $5 TS3 pre-order
+ $0 Tink watch
+ $10 GC
- $10 GC promo
+ $11.98 for 3 Mighty Beanz sets (B2G1F)
+ $29.99 It's a Bug's Life Blu-ray combo set
- $5/$25
+ $5 Batb pre-order
- $10 Batb pre-order
= $36.96 + tax

now we had to do it like this so that there was 'money' left on the movie to give the GC. It wouldn't give the GC w/o the movie costing something. Or whatever...it was a long drawn out process and the math appears to work correctly in the end so that's all that matters.

the plain way of doing it, worked just fine which I only see now as I've had a chance to sit down and look over the receipts. But since we were all beyond confused to what the computer was doing, we ended up returning the Batb pre-order (because it appeared that it didn't take it off :headache: ) so our total was $9 after the return.

29.99
- $10 coupon
- $10 pre-order
+$5 pre-order
- $10 pre-order
+$5 pre-order
- $0 free watch
+ $5.98 lego mini figures (B2G1F)
+$1.90 clearance toy thing for DD
- $5/$25
= $12.87+ tax ($14.00 after tax)

also got suckered into buying some Lego sets for the boys with the B2G1F and I need to go back later on and give them another $5/$25 to help bring down that total! ;)

I need to go tomorrow and pick up Tink and pre-order BatB...sounds like a huge hassle though! Does TRU price match if I bring in the ad from Target??

I did.. but it was a mess... read below.

today I went to try and get my discounts.

I had paid the $10 po on TB, and did the PO on BatB today. i also tried to get the price matched from Target.

To make a long story short... I managed to get it for $3.21 as they said they voided everything out from seveal failed attempts on the cashier's part to get it to work.

HOWEVER.... i've yet to see the preorder refunded back to me. So my $3.21 is actually $13.21. I did get the $10 gift card and $10 watch.

This was my initial breakdown.

$29.99
-$10 po
($19.99 balance).
-$10 coupon
-$10 BatB po
(-$.01 balance)

this is the part TRU had an issue with. It wouldn't let it do the coupons with a negative balance. they had to void my initial transactions I did because a manager said ring it up without the preorder ($10 off BatB) and go to CS to fix it.

I had a Pricematch for $22.99 which the store manager said he'd honor.
So this is my new coupon:
$29.99
+$.01 (watch)
-$27 (which was to be the $10 coupon, +$10preorder of BatB, and the $7 price difference of target's 22.99 and TRU's 29.99 but doesn't show seperately it was all one lump $27 off).
=$3.21 (inc tax)

however, my initial preorder $10 I gave for TB isnt refunded yet. It was a debit card and I don't really want to go to the TRU again to deal with it.

It is very nice of you to get a set for your aunt.

Thanks... she's the one that brought me up with the Disney movies. I don't have a desire for tinkerbell, so I'm hoping to sell it later on ebay to recoup the price for all of them.
And she's always happy to expand her collection. Which she really shouldn't be, she's running out of room on the book shelf. :rotfl:

I got my pre-order at TRU today. They would not price-match the target price and I spent more time arguing with them about being able to use another coupon. I am still confused if the whole thing worked out the way it was suppose to, but after this experience, I will be sticking to Wall-Mart and Target for the Disney movies.

cross posting from slickdeals....

It worked for me. I checked out in the video game area, if that matters. The kid was really impressed at my savings. I think the key is to be buying not just the movie. I bought legos for birthday presents since they were buy 2 get 1 today. All told I spent $32.62 and got Tink plus 3 lego sets (14.99, 14.99 and 12.99), the watch and the $10.00 gift card. You have to add the $10.00 I spent for the preorder, but it was still almost exactly the retail on the 3 lego sets. I used the $5.00 off $25.00 coupon on all this as well.

I think I did okay. Also, he keyed them in in a different order. He scanned the movie, $10.00 off coupon, the legos, and then the Tinkerbell preorder balance, the BaTB preorder and lastly the giftcard. Now, I hope BaTB goes just as smoothly with the $10.00 coupon, the giftcard and TS3 preorder.

Here's a scan on my receipt:

At the toy&us in chicago, they refuse to let me stack the coupons. It is either the $10 off from disney or $10 off for preorder B&B. So I have to pay $10 preorder + $11 for the combo DVD and the free watch. I did get a $10 gift card back. The manager point to the disney coupon and says that the coupon can not be use with another offer.
