$10 Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Blu-ray coupon now live

Went to Target tonight. Mine had it for $22.99. So after both coupons and tax I paid $8.44. going to walmart tomorrow to return the other one I bought for $14.11.

I don't think we're going to have these problems with BATB simply b/c there is no gift card invloved (that seems to be the problem) and we only prepaid $5 not $10 (the other issue).

So it should end up like this:

+$29.99 BATB Bluray
-$ 5.00 pre-order discount
-$10.00 Manf coupon
+$ 5.00 TS3 pre-order
-$10.00 pre-order TS3 discount
________
Total: $9.99 (the balance is above $0 so there shouldn't be the issue we had with Tink)
Pay with GC from tink $0 OOP

TS3 transaction:

+$29.99 TS3 Bluray
-$ 5.00 pre-order discount
-$10.00 Manf coupon (hopefully)
________
Total: $14.99

FYI, I DID see a poster today at Walmart that BATB is gonig to include a free ticket for Disney's Tangled. So that may end up being a better deal if you want to see that movie.

We went to TRU last night. The cashier was nice but he was having issues ringing things up. He called a manager who knew exactly what to do. I walked out with the Tink dvd, preorder for the BatB, a $10 gift card and a Tink watch all for $5 OOP.

It's something in the system not allowing the double promotion. I spent 2 hours with the manager tonight trying to figure it out. Each time she scanned in the Tink promo for $10 gift card, it was making me pay for the gift card. If I tried to set the gift card to a 1$, it wouldn't ring it up and change it back to $10.

She was a very very sweet lady, and couldn't have asked for some one nicer. She finally gave up on the system, even after calling other managers (there must be another diser that went to the same store yesterday), no one could figure it out. So she shorted the drawer 5$ and left a note for the GM/Home office about it.
She was like, why is the computer not allowing for it's own store's promotion. If they're going to do this, then they should make it work before hand.

here's a copy of my receipt. Again the 5$ cash was her short changing the drawer.

That's basically how my transaction went. I left paying $11.xx. I went back later and talked to the customer service lady. It turns out I was being charged $4.11 for the tink watch. Their computer didn't deduct the full value of the 'free' watch. She credited me $4.11+tax, so I only payed $5+tax! I'm happy now :thumbsup2 I'm glad too that our TRU took the $10 coupon. What a bummer for those whose stores wouldn't accept them. That's a raw deal.

I see what you mean with the 5$ on the tink watch. I should go back tomorrow morning and correct it with her. Maybe if they just leave the watch off, it wouldn't cause so many problems. The watch was the least of my worries.
And I canceled the second pre order of the movie. I get the blu ray copy, my aunt get's the DVD copy... eventually they will reunite back into the same case. I didn't want to put her through it all over again, and they managed to loose my pre-order receipt with all the confusion. Getting the 10$ back was the easiest choice.

Yeah, evidently TRUS management has been telling everyone to be on the look out for scams. I got "that speech" too along with the "we don't stack coupons". But then the manager figured out how to do it and I ended up with price match + coupons + promotion.

I did not pre-order TS3 today. I'll wait to do that when I pick up B&B as my '$19.99 or higher DVD/BR'.

Even though I got a great deal, it's frustrating and annoying to have to go through the ropes with TRUS...

We just finished watching it. It was very cute. We bought two sets of the Target deluxe set with hair clips--a copy for me and a copy for Grandma. I wanted the hair clips to be in pairs (two of each) for my DD3. The characters are screwed into the hair clip with two small phillips screws. I unscrewed the characters from one set and turned the characters over so now there is one clip facing left and one facing right (before unscrewing them and flipping them over, one of character of each set is upside down when you put them in her hair). So, now we have two copies of the movie, two pencil box type cases, ten hair clips (two each of five characters), and 10 rings. All for about $25 after using the $5 off Target coupons and $10 off Disney coupons. Not too shabby :goodvibes

Could someone tell me where I could find a Target coupon for the Tink movie? I am defitiently going to avoid TRU!!!

I don't think its the GC thats giving most everyone troubles at TRU, I think its the watch because that is adding on 5.00. I didn't give them my watch to ring up, thinking because it was a giveaway, that they didn't need to ring it up-never even crossed my mind to give it them and they didn't ask for it to ring up. I think that's how I left without having any difficulties. I paid 6.56 for my 3 Leapfrog TAG Jr. books and 4.99 for the movie.

The problem is the way the computers are set up. Here's the breakdown of my receipy and what I was told:

Movie $29.99
-10.00 presell
19.99 due on pickup
-10.00 for presale on TS3 or BATB
9.99 owe on Tinkerbell
because the movie is now under $10, when we use the manufactures coupon and/or the $10.00 off presale it screws it all up. I added a $2.00 pez dispenser to my order and that still didn't work. When you look at your receipts, it breaks down the discounts per item and it doesn't just deduct it off your total owed. Even if we bought $100 of other stuff, we would still have trouble w/using all the coupons. My store stated they couldn't overide coupons and change the face value of them. I don't know why but that's what they told me. The other thing they do is charge $10.00 for the gc and then deduct the $10 off the end like it's a promo(like the watch, they charge you and it gets taken off)
What I ended up paying(and I'm not sure if this is good or not)
Tink 15.00
TS3 presale 5.00
GC 10.00
30.00 total before discounts

-10.00 tink coupon
-10.00 gc
total oop with tax 11.16
if I deduct $5.00 off of that for the TS3 presale, I guess that would mean tink was about $16.00 total but I also received the $10.00 giftcard(and the watch) so total oop $6.00.
The other thing I don't get is on the receipt from yesterday, under all the deductions for the movie, it says refund price $5.00. That doesn't make sense either cuz it's like they are disregarding the fact that I paid the $10 presale???I'm so confused, I just don't know

If I'm not mistaken at target it's $22 -$5.00 target coupon, -$10.00 tink coupon would be $7.00 with no GC and no watch right???

I'm not fond of Toys R Us, always takes so long to check out so I didn't even try to get my Tinkerbell movie there. I went to Target.

I used the $5.00 coupon I found on this thread and the $10.00 coupon from this thread and my movie was $7.99. They are onsale for $22.99. No watch, no gift card.

They do have a set with a jewlery box and I think hair bows and it was 26.99. I just opted for the movie so I could get it cheaper.

Not true. The watch is not the problem. The gift card is. You didn't have any problems b/c you bought other items so your balance never went below $0. The manager told me something about there has to be at least $10 of merchandise on your receipt for the gift card to ring up right, so it's def the gift card. Basically if your total (including other things) was over $10 then you shouldn't have had a problem.

I went to TRU yesterday to return my pre-order B&B and TS3.
They refunded it no problem. Then I went to the electronics department picked up TB and got the B&B pre-order. The cashier struggled with and called the manager. She told me because of the coupon, gift card and free watch they need to check me out without the coupon first. Then after that she used my $10.00 printable coupon and refunded the $10.00 to my cc. So the deal worked and the manager was super nice about it!:goodvibes

Went to TRU yesterday and had no problem:
9/18-
$(10.00) pre-order TB

9/22-
$ 30.00 TB Blu-ray
$-10.00 deposit (see above)
$-10.00 manuf. coupon
$ 5.00 pre-order BatB
$ 0.00 Tink watch
$ 15.00 + tax oop + 10.00GC = effectively $5.00 out the door (not actually, but, effectively)

actually charged $ 10.00 + tax + $10.00GC

I think I am doing the math right. I didn't catch this at the time, so I didn't ask, but I assume it is their attempt to price match Target (which is directly acroos the street)

They will apply the coupon when I pick up BatB (which makes sense - I only deposited $5.00, so why would they allow me to redeem a promo coupon for $10 before I pay in full for the product? I can just see the scams over that one!)

So next time, when I pick up BatB, my trans should look like:
$ 30.00 (assumed sale price)
$ -5.00 BatB deposit (see above)
$ -10.00 manuf. coupon
$ -10.00 BatB Promo
$ 5.00 pre-order TS3
$ 10.00 + tax oop, which I will pay with TB gift certificate

So next time, when I pick up TS3, my trans should look like:
$ 30.00 (assumed sale price)
$ -5.00 TS3 deposit (see above)
$ -10.00 manuf. coupon
$ -10.00 TS3 Promo
$ 5.00 + tax oop, which I will pay cash

So:
$-10.00 TB
$-15.00 ($10.00 actually charged) TB p/u
$ 0.00 BatB
$ -5.00 TS3
$-30.00 ($-25.00 actually charged) for three Disney Blu-rays

My receipt looks like SandraA9810's receipt. I will get the $10 when I pick up BatB. I called TRU this morning on this point, just to confirm.

This was my first time buying TRU's deposit/rollover program (whatever they want to call it). I wanted to give it a try, but I'm thinking Target is the better deal.

I got the $10 off from Batb pre-order immediately. The computer auto-deducts that. It's not something 'nice' that the cashiers or managers are doing. In fact it's not possible for them to remove it from your transaction unless you didn't buy a blu-ray in the transaction or you already brought the blu-ray down to zero with other promos. It comes off as $10 off select item. That's the Batb $10 discount.

Did you see my post where ours rang up?

$29.99 Tink
- $10 Batb promo ($10 off select item)
- $10 TS 3 promo
- $10 vendor coupon
+ $0 watch
+ $5 Batb pre-order
+ $5 TS3 pre-order
+ a few other items
- $5/$25

They will have to manually give you some sort of discount when you pick up the movie and that's going to be hard to prove you are owed it unless you have something in writing from the current manager saying you are owed $10 extra off Batb. The pre-order card for Batb specifically states 'get $10 off TODAY' when you pre-order.

I'm not disagreeing that the manager said that to you but I'd honestly ask for it in writing because it's not correct and I'd hate for them to deny you the $10 when you go pick it up, yk?

I'm so jealous!!! My target still doesn't have these!!!!

This is all my Target had, so even though Dd is a little older she can use them on her dolls. Not a bad deal at $26 - $10 - $5. I wanted just the Dvd/ Blue ray but they were out.

I can't find the Target coupon in the link. I just keep getting the thread talking about it. Can someone PM me the coupon?
