AWESOME! Hitting the target after I pick up my princess at preschool!!!! So I've got $15 off with this coupon + the manuf. one THANK YOU!!! I HOPE they have the gift sets at my target!!

I think my head is STILL spinning.

I think I only got $5 off and I couldn't do the BATB preorder only TS.

I could have done better at Target w/ less headache. I'm trying to console myself saying I got a free watch!

I was told the BATB offer was good upon the pick up of BATB. The small print confirms that. I'm not sure why the TS3 only too $5 off (I had the $4.99 added back in too). Maybe when I pick up TS3 I get that back? The store manager did say they had to change the promos because too many people were scamming them.

I had about 5 different people working on checking me out. At one point they were all convinced I owed $22! I only bought the blu-ray. When they forced that point I walked out, sat in the car and did the math myself. $30 DVD - $10 preorder and $10 coupon does not = $22, LOL!

I think I'm done w/ the preorder world!

I picked up mine yesterday and purchased a few Zhu Zhu things, sure enough when I got home I overpaid by $10! I called the store and they said I could come in for a refund, I said no way that I live 20 minutes away and have no plans for being near there the rest of the week. The manager ended up giving my card a credit over the phone. Now I am watching my credit card like a hawk to see if it actually shows up....

I never had problems with TRU preorders before!

This happened the last time I had a coupon and preordered> I forgot what movie it was. For some reason my $5. preorder did not show up. They kept explaining it..BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. I would of returned the movie but them I wouldn't have my $10 coupon. I walked away vowing to never prebuy a movie at TRU. From now on I just buy them at Target w/my coupon.

Yeah, TRU was a headache for me as well. I gave up arguing and paid the $11.56 they said I owed but it should have been $5 less since mine too only took $5 of the $10 off I put down for the pre-order. I don't see how they say people are scamming them. They are the one's who have the offers out, we are just using the offers available to us. So far I have paid $21.26 OOP and I have the Tink movie, a $10 giftcard, the free watch , and $5 down on the BATB movie...we shall see what happens when I go to pick up BATB and use the $10 coupon and the $10 giftcard I have

I must be a total idiot here- every link I click on in the slickdeals thread leads me to the DMR coupon, I need the target one I don't know what I'm doing wrong!!

ETA: I finally got it to work! Yay!!! Thanks all. Hitting Target tomorrow with my 2 coupons, it's DDs 7th birthday tomorrow and she'll be so excited!

Sorry if this is a repeat but I just received next weeks TRU sale ad, effective Sept 26 - Oct 2. In this ad it has Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue on sale for $26.99 save $3 off the regular price of $29.99.

So does anyone know when this whole TRU scenario with the preordering BATB and the gift cards mumbo jumbo expires? Should we wait until next week and save the extra $3 or will the other offers not be valid then?

This was confusing enough already without me adding more loopholes into the mix!

Pre-order of BatB is until 10/4. The Tink watch will probably be out of stock by the 26th....but if you don't care about the watch then I say save the $3.

The deal worked like a charm for me today in Virginia Beach, VA.

I got the Tinkerbell Blu-Ray, free watch, free $10 gc, preordered BatB, and got an additional Tinkerbell stationary set from clearance ($6.98). Total paid today was $12.99, which means I got the Tinkerbell deal for the correct $4.99

I used the BatB preorder discount, and the Tinkerbell Disney coupon. Since I did get an additional item, I might have been able to use the $5/$25 too, but I thought it was a great enough deal so I didn't try it... didn't want to push my luck haha.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I checked out in electronics. It took like 30 seconds for the guy to ring everything up, and there was no problem. He even read my receipt afterward and checked the math because he said yesterday there had been some "coupon problems" for Tinkerbell.

My TRU was a nightmare and couldn't get it to work either. I actually left the store and then realized they didn't give me the $10GC. Anyway, went back and it was a huge cluster. I asked them to cancel it and I went to Target. So easy and painless. Bought the version with the rings and hairclips and Spent $12 or so.

I think I will stick with Target from now on.

wow I had no problems last night. they were almost out of the watches though.

Just got back from TRUS. They had issues, but we had a fierce storm come through so while it poured buckets, I just waited for the manager to figure it all out.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Looks like those that bought something else had no problem using the deal. I already posted my story but I know part of the reason mine didn't work out was because it was only taking $4.99 off the manufacturers coupon....because my total was only $4.99...then the added my gift card...which should have done before the MC....but they wouldn't listen to me. So I paid $10 for mine. I'll probably add something else to my BATB to make it smoother. After this whole mess is over, I'm sticking to Target and Walmart.

Sooooo........

I just got back from my Toys r us. Ugh. What a nightmare. I had to go to electronics to purchase and was only picking up the movie which I preordered. The cashier was very odd to begin with and kept talking to me and my daughter about weird stuff and making me very uncomfortable. (Have been here before and he is always a little off can't explain it) He rings up the Tink movie. I give him the coupon for $10 off and he says $10. I give him the Beauty and the Beast slip to do the preorder and save $10 instantly. He tells me I can do it in another order, when I say but it will take off the $10 he asks if he can talk to me "over there" and walks me to the corner of the counter where the employees enter the back areA(there is no one in the electronics dept at the time so unsure why this is necessary) He explains that since I had the $10 off coupon and the gift card that I am getting to much off and I can't do it. He is treating me like a complete scam artist. I would have no issues if he just said you couldn't stack deals but he had to pull me aside. The whole time my 5 year old DD is saying "Mom look at this" So I ended up just paying the $10, getting the gift card and skipping the Beauty and the Beast pre-order. Once I left I started getting really annoyed and am pretty angry right now. I feel a little better now that I see that others have had issues but just the way the guy handled it was unacceptable.

Driving home I was going to call and speak to a manager. Of course my phone is dead though. Should I bother calling and speaking to a manager or just go in tomorrow and return the everything and go to Walmart?

That's basically how my transaction went. I left paying $11.xx. I went back later and talked to the customer service lady. It turns out I was being charged $4.11 for the tink watch. Their computer didn't deduct the full value of the 'free' watch. She credited me $4.11+tax, so I only payed $5+tax! I'm happy now I'm glad too that our TRU took the $10 coupon. What a bummer for those whose stores wouldn't accept them. That's a raw deal.
