$10 Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Blu-ray coupon now live

$7.99 + tax at the 2nd Target I checked. The other stores in our area only had the jewelry box set, they were completely cleaned out of the blue-ray/dvd alone combo. We're not planning on getting another copy of BatB, so I'm happy with this price.

Also, I swung by TRU by chance to pick up a few things for my niece's birthday and it took forever to check out even without buying the movie. They only had 2 lines open, and every single person in line ahead of me had some kind of problem that required paging for a manager. :confused3 It was almost comedic. DH and DD eventually ended up heading out to the car to wait for me, but darn it, I was getting my Weebles! :rolleyes1

Does anyone know if the Target price of $16.99 will stay the same for this coming week? I didn't get to Target today and am wondering if the price will go up tomorrow?

I can't tell if the $16.99 is a sale price or just a regular price?

Sale price. I do know next week TRU is putting tink on sale, 3$ off plus mentions the coupon for a total of 16.99 for the blu ray/dvd.

Maybe everyone ahead of you was doing this Tink deal with the multiple coupons, etc. and that caused the delay...;)

If you are in the NW, and like me didn't get to Target last week, looks like Fred Meyer has the Tinkerbell movie on sale for $16.99 this week.

Just wanted to report that my TRU was fantastic in helping me purchase the new tinkerbell movie. My transaction was processed as follows:

29.99
-10.00 deposit
-10.00 TS3 promo
+5.00 for TS3 deposit
-10.00 disney coupon
.01 for promo Tinkerbell watch (watch added at marked down to .01)
5.16 total purchase price (which included tax)

The cashier then gave me a 10.00 merchandise credit for the tinkerbell gift card promotion. So, at the end of the day, I really paid nothing for the tinkerbell movie and watch (if you take into account the gift card). The 5.00 is for the TS3 deposit.

The cashiers were extremely helpful in processing my order. The entire transaction took approximately 5 minutes. :thumbsup2

Good luck to everyone else in making their purchase!

Was anyone else told they weren't allowed to use both the coupon and get the $10 gift certificate (for preordering) at TRU? I was told I had to choose to either get the 10 off or the gift certificate but couldn't do both. :confused3

I was told from the cashier that I cannot use more than one TRUS coupon. I said that I had a $10 coupon from Disney and a $10 promotion from TRUs plus a $5 off $25 coupon from TRUS. Therefore, I only had one TRUS coupon. The manager agreed with me -- maybe she was just being nice. What took us so long was that I also added in a price match to Target.

If you don't have patience, or a very nice Toys R Us, I would suggest not going that route.

This is absolutely right!

I'll continue to 'press my luck' at TRUs to get the free movies but I recognize it's soon not going to be worth it for me ... esp if Target continues to put their own $5 off coupon out.

I am getting cross-eyed after reading all of these scenarios...anyway, I keep trying to find the $5 Target that pp's are referring to but cannot locate?

I missed the preorder and TRU coupon, I'd like to try Target this week. TIA!

Post #226 in this thread has a link that worked this morning. Good luck!

So I went through all the hubub of pre-ordering Tink, got all my receipts and coupons together, and they didn't have any left. What is the point of pre-ordering then?? :headache:

Yeah, that happened to someone else, too. I thought they were holding a copy once you preorder ... but guess not.

When I walked in, they said they were all out. Then I showed them my pre-order slip, and they pulled one from the back.

You have to remember too, preorders can be made all the way up until the previous day. Well most shipments are made a day or two prior to the movie release date. So stores/companies have to make an estimated guess on how many more pre orders there will be in the last 48hrs for the shipment.
I think with all the promo stuff they're putting out, there was probably a bit of higher demand than expected.
