Me too. They are coming to Tampa the week before we are going to visit family :cry: We can't change the dates so we are going to miss it. My dd would be in heaven if we went!

My girls are going to love this. they are 8 and 11 and always say they have never been to a concert (i know, get out your violins...lol). this is such a great way to go, we will have fun as a family and even though we we will be on lawn seats and they will be little specs on the stage, I think they will enjoy it!

When I went to the Comcast center in Mansfield the Jonas Brothers tickets were $10 even though they were not on the list.. Just a FYI

Just ordered 4 tickets for Mansfield! Last time I was there it was for the Who....how times change that I am excited to be taking my kids to see Jo Bros and the rest!

So there's a Jonas/Demi concert in Tinley Park at the First Midwest Amphitheater for $10 and it looks like those seats would be in the lawn area. Has anyone been there and can tell me what this would be like? Do people just bring lawn chairs or sit in the grass? Are there projection screens back there, and does it feel like you're WAY far away or is it a smaller type of venue?

I bit the bullet and bought 2 tickets to take my dd for her 8th birthday! We're gonna go to the one in Camden, NJ on August 27th and take along her bff and her mom! She will be so surprised and excited! Here is the link...there are other bands listed in other towns as well! Yesterday was indeed the last day. I got them just in time at 11pm. Does anyone know anything about the lawn seats at the Comcast Center in Mansfield? Will my DD7 be able to see still? I really don't want to hear her complain about how she can't see.

It has been years since I have been there - but I just remember blankets I think there are screens by the stage. We are going and my DD5 can't wait!

I went specifically to the concert that I remember being on the list(Tinley Park) just last night and was still able to get the tickets for $10(lawn seats)
Had told dd's that it was too late so now Iam making it a surprise. Even if they can't see, for that price it will be fun just to hang out and be able to say they got to go.

Got my lawn seat tickets in the mail today for PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.
2 lawn seats for $20 is a great bargain.

they changed the seating at comcast in Mansfield. It used to be covered seating and then a HUGE lawn section. A few years ago they added uncovered seats to the lawn area and now the lawn area is smaller. I've seen Jimmy Buffet there 6 times but I would never do lawn seats with a young kid. There are screens but its too far away and they are not going to be able to see anything because nobody sits. I would be afraid that my kids was going to get crushed.. plus if it rains you are SOL because the grass if actually dirt...

needless to say I bought regular seats to take my dd7 and my dn6 to the concert

if my dd was a teenager I would do the lawn seats but not at that age

also they don't allow any chairs or umbrellas, so if it going to rain bring ponchos! you can bring a blanket but once the place gets crowded be prepared to pick it up or have it stepped on~

and Mansfield still has $10 tickets available!

honestly I am an adult and I cant see from the lawn section so I doubt a 7 year old will be able to

just got my tix. in the mail! I really don't think my dd will care if she can see or not. They usually have projection screens plus she'll be thrilled just to be there and hear the music!
