My best friend and her family are going to DW next week - kids first time. I want to give the kids a list of 10 things to look for at the parks that you wouldn't otherwise notice. For instance, the key hidden under the mat at the entrance of Muppets 3-D. What other nifty things can they look for?

Thanks.

1. Tinkerbell hidden in the keyhole of a dresser in her shop behind the castle. You can also wake her up if your the first in the shop but you need to ask.

2. The talking trash cans in MK ( I think his name is Push) and Animal Kingdom.

Hope they have fun!

* The talking water fountains in Epcot.

* In MGM if you pull the rope in the well outside the Indiana Jones Stunt show there is a pleasant surprise.

* There is one horse on Cinderella's carousel that has a yellow ribbon tied to its tail. That one is supposedly hers. :wave2:

There's a statute of Cinderella in rags behind her castle...also a water fountain....when a child bends down to take a drink the decor behind Cindy's head appears to be a crown on her head....she goes from rags to princess in seconds!

make a list of odd characters...have them find them and get pics and autographs!

The "wedding ring" in the concrete outside the Haunted Mansion.

Paintbrushes on Tom Sawyer's Island.

Devine in AK.

Watch the giant cuckoo clock strike the hour at Germany in Epcot.

Directly across from Mickeys Philharmagic is a shop called either "Sir Mickeys" or "Fantasy Faire". Anyway if you go inside the store and look at the ceiling the kids will see the giant from Mickey and the Beanstock "lifting" the roof to have a peep inside. Very cool.

Wow.. these are really cool things.. I never knew about most of them..

*In Winnie the Pooh ride, there will be a picture of Mr. Toad handing Winnie the pooh the deed to the ride.
*In the great movie ride section of Indiana Jones, the hyroghrifics have R2D2, C3PO, Mickey, and Donald.

How about the lanterns hung on the Liberty Tree in the Square at Magic Kingdom? Thirteen for the original colonies.

The hedge maze in United Kingdom at Epcot.

The Hall of Fame area at MGM (to the left of where Superstar TV used to be).
