10 Nights, 9 Days, 2 Birthdays and 1 Magical May 2014 Vacation! **Complete 6-10**

Loving your outfit changes! They all sound great!
Of course I love the tiger minnie the best!
I can't wait to see the pics of your girls all decked out!

i think that sounds like a great idea with your fastpasses! can't wait to see how it goes.

so of course i LOVE all the iron ons from miss morgans! the birthday one is so cute! and i thought about getting those same elsa and anna ones! i just love all her stuff!

if you have the time to make them and can find fabric you like, i have a pattern to make pillowcase dresses. it takes, seriously, less than half an hour and is SUPER easy. of course, i love buying stuff from etsy and supporting peoples creativeness on there, but if you wanted to make them, i could get you the directions. just throwing that out there....

I would totally make them, but I don't have an embroidery machine to do the decal on front :( And I know I could zig-zag around the edges... but I don't trust my sewing enough to do it myself! Ha ha! If it were just the dress I'd do it in a heart beat, but I know if I did them they would probably look like poo! Ha ha! :rotfl:

my dd's dresses that I made are the pillowcase dresses. I did not trust my sewing abilities on the decals either ;) What I did was find some sparkly iron on "patch" paper. I cut it out in the shape of mickey head and ironed it on. Then in order to seal the edges I used clear sparkle fabric paint. It worked out great...I just wont dare wash it until after she wears it at WDW :rotfl2:

One of the problems I forsee, from what I understand, you can't schedule FP+ for an hour before and 2 hr after ADR. That might interfere with you TT FP+.

I meant to say something about this earlier and forgot....when I was changing FPs and ADRs, I would get a message if I made a FP at the time of a meal ressie. it would say something like "this time interferes with another reservation" you might be able to check it if you go back into your my Disney experience stuff and look at your FPs. if something is overlapping time wise, a message might pop up to let you know.

I totally understand that! I don't have an embroidery machine either (I wish I did, but man! they are spendy!!). I can whip up a pillowcase dress easy-peasy, but I stay away from anything that needs to be appliqued, embroidered, etc. I seriously doubt it would look like poo but I totally laughed when I read that! :lmao:

Due to me having to head out of town to get to Texas last week, we didn't get to do our movie night! So because of that, we got to do two this week! Addison LOVED that we got to do two this week! Due to the picture heavy posts... I'm going to break our two movie nights up into two posts!

Monday, February 3rd... Lilo and Stitch!

On the menu for the night was Hawaiian Chicken and Rice, Green Beans, Hawaiian Sweet Rolls and "Hawaiian Juice" as Addie called it (a mango/passion fruit juice). It was yummy! The movie was great and the first time Derek had seen the whole movie in one sitting. He enjoyed it... Harper on the other hand had better things to do apparently. Oh well, you win some, you lose some! Here are a few pics of the night!

There you have it!

I was going to post our movie night from tonight... but Photobucket is ticking me off! It's making me "x" out of the page after getting the link to every picture! And I probably have 16 pictures from tonight! It was a good one!! So unfortunately, you have to wait a bit for that post! I have to work tomorrow and Sunday night... so hopefully I can get on during the day and post it, if not you'll have to wait until Monday night! Oh the suspense! ;)

Looks like a great movie night! Lilo and Stitch is a favorite at our house! Charlotte watched the original so many times it got all scratched up and we had to purchase a second DVD! Its the only kiddie movie my DH actually likes.

Looks like another fun movie night! I wish I was organized enough to plan a few of those! Maybe this time...

Can't wait to see the pics from movie night #2!

Just throwing this out there--supposedly if you have a Disney movie that won't play anymore (it gets broken, scratched, whatever) they will replace it free of charge. I'm not sure how it works, but I've read about it several times places online.

Before we jump into the Movie Night... just have an announcement!

:cool1::cool1: It's our Dalmatian Day!! That means only 2 more days until we're FINALLY into the double digits!! Woohoo!!! :cool1::cool1:

Friday, February 7th... Beauty and the Beast!

I was sooooo excited for this movie night!! When Addie drew Beauty and the Beast out of the bag I couldn't wait for this night. Beauty and the Beast is probably my favorite Disney movie and I knew we'd have fun with this! What made it even more fun is that we invited my in-laws out! They had a blast watching the girls sing and dance through EVERY song! :)

Before dinner Addison LOVED helping me make the Grey Stuff! And she did think it was delicious! Then after grandma and grandpa got here, they colored Beauty and the Beast pictures with the girls. Then on the menu was Croque Monsieur, Pomme Frites, Sparkling Grape Juice, Wine, Enchanted Rose Shortcakes and the Grey Stuff! Unfortunately, I didn't grab any pics of the desserts... but I did borrow the picture from the blog that I found the recipes on!

Here are some pics of our night!

There you have it! It really was a wonderful night!

Oh my gosh your girls look so much more grown up in these pics! Looks like a really fun night! Beauty and the Beast is such a classic!

Happy Dalmatian Day!

Thank you!! We did have a great time! Celebrating even more this weekend! We've got 3 girls coming over to play all day and then 1 or 2 of them spending the night! Oh goodness... 5 and 6 year old girls. Lord help me! Ha ha! :rotfl: Then Sunday afternoon we have our family coming out to celebrate! Whew... what a week!

:lovestruc Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! :lovestruc

Ahhhh!!! I am still here!

It's been a busy few weeks here at our house, with pretty much one week of that devoted to my crazy 6 year old and her birthday! Then it doesn't help that my birthday is a week later! Of course, my birthday isn't the star of the show anymore, but my hubby and I were able to take a night away for dinner and a movie! :)

We went out to dinner on my daughter's birthday (2-11) and did a little present opening here. Then the Saturday after her birthday (2-15) we had 3 of her good friends over for a day of playing, making crafts, painting pillowcases, decorating their own cupcakes and a movie (Peter Pan). And one of the girls ended up spending the night! It was a great time! Then the next day we had family over to celebrate where she was spoiled rotten again! :) I wish I could post all the pics from the festivities, but I'd need a million posts to do so! So much fun!

Then on Thursday (2-20) my youngest and I had the pleasure of meeting Lori (STLMickeyMom), Jackie (Jackiemarie21) and April (AprilRenee) and their kiddos! What a great little play date that will most definitely have to happen again! It was wonderful adult time with people I felt totally comfortable with thanks to having a lot of stuff in common... Disney, duh! :rotfl:

And on Friday (2-21) my DH had a previous engagement so my DD's and I took the opportunity to take my MIL out to see Frozen for the first time! Even though it will be released on video before we leave, we just had to take her to see it on the big screen before our trip! She LOVED it and my girls were sooooo stinking cute singing along to all of the songs. It was a great night!

Now... onto the reason you're all really here... Movie Night #4!

We celebrated Valentine's Day with our Snow White Movie Night!

Of all of the movie nights so far, this was the dud. I think it's because we had such a busy week and every body was really exhausted... as you can see by the pics to come! On the menu was "Dwarf Food" and Apple Dumplings. We had mini pizzas, baby carrots and mini cheese balls (like mozzarella sticks). And I had never made Apple Dumplings before... and they smelled delicious while they were baking. Note... I said "smelled" delicious. They. Were. Terrible. :worried: I should have stuck with my initial plan of an apple pie. Oh well!

Now, onto the pics!

Yes... I was the only one that stayed awake for the show! Ha ha! Oh well, I cut them some slack and watched a movie in peace! popcorn::

It was so nice meeting you and Harper as well!

Sounds like a very busy few days!
We have had some dud movie nights as well. I tried to have so many in the weeks leading up to our last trip, several of them did not go as planned.

I am happy to hear you and Addie had happy birthdays!

Movie Night #5... Wednesday Feb. 19th... Toy Story!

Toy Story is most definitely a favorite among us girls in the house, but daddy (like most other Disney movies) hadn't yet seen it all the way through! *Gasp* :confused3 He LOVED it and couldn't believe he had yet to sit down and watch it! Now we've just got to get him to sit down and watch 2 & 3 with us!

On the menu was "Pizza Planet" a.k.a. Papa John's Pizza, Buzz's Breadsticks, Alien Juice, Alien Cupcakes and Cold "Schmoes" since we didn't have a way to make hot ones! I did also have stuff to make Sid's Salad, but I completely forgot about it so it didn't come out to the table! Everything was delicious of course... and better yet, everyone stayed awake for the movie! Ha ha! No repeat of our Snow White movie night, that's for sure!

Now onto the pics!

And of course Woody and Jessie had to join us, like they pretty much do for every movie night because Harper can't separate from them! What a great night!
