10 Favorite H.S. Flicks--any of your faves listed?

More "Can't Buy Me Love" fans here! Little Seth Greene is about 8 years old and hilarious. And a young Patrick Dempsey
going "from totally geek to totally sheik"! :smooth:

We also love all the John Hughes films.

We're also forgetting another HS classic here (my apologies if it was mentioned and I missed it)....."Bueller? Bueller?"

I loved Grease & Sixteen Candles. I too was surprised that The Breakfast Club was missing - it's an all time favorite. I just recently saw the Virgin Suicides on Lifetime and found it amazing as well.

Dazed and Confused pretty much summed up my high school years........ :teeth:

I am with you, Grog! Ferris has got to be the one of the best!!

Still watch it and love it!:smooth:

I grew up during the brat pack era, but I missed out since I wasn't allowed to see "R" movies! So, I never got into those.

You know which one I really liked? It looked so stupid, but someone dragged me to it, and it cracked me up! It was Can't Hardly Wait with Seth Green & Jennifer Love Hewitt (sp? on both names). I don't even remember what I liked about it, but I remember laughing my butt off.

I loved Grease at the time but have come to realize what an idiotic story it is.

I'm another one who can't believe that they left off The Breakfast Club. And I loved both Grease and Carrie. Heathers was a funny movie.

And what about Footloose?

Ok, now here's my top ten:

10 - Better Off Dead

9 - American Pie

8 - Can't Hardly Wait

7 - Rock N Roll High School

6 - Weird Science

5 - Sixteen Candles

4 - Dead Poet's Society

3 - Ferris Bueller's Day Off

2 - Breakfast Club

1 - Fast Times at Ridgemont High

I liked all but Dazed and Confused. Dh and I saw it twice because we thought we'd missed something the 1st time. Maybe we
should have gotten high-lol!

Also wondering where "The Breakfast Club" is.

Great list Jeff. I can't believe I forgot about Wierd Science. That movie was too cool. I gave it the Oscar for best use of the song "Pretty Woman" in a movie. Almost makes me want to sit here at my computer with a bra on my head :p
