Wasn't The DIS just second to WDW Today who was number one?
I was really surprised not to see WDW Radio on that list too. That's odd.
I've never been a huge fan of Lou he's very pro Disney and never says anything bad about them. Now the Dis is that middle ground where they will call Disney out but will also praise them. Lou also has been traveling the country telling people how to start their own podcast or something.I wasn't clear, sorry about that.
I meant out of all the Disney podcasts, The DIS is clearly the best. WDW Radio used to be my favorite, but Lou seems to have stopped caring about the show in the last year or so.

The Disunplugged was my first podcast. Now I have added Mickey Miles and Disney Dish with Jim Hill, and occasionally listen to wdw today. I'm still getting used to the new hosts.I've always loved Lou's undying love for all things Disney. His was the first Disney podcast I ever listened to, and it greatly influenced how I view the parks and fueled my love for the place. I would not be the die-hard WDW fan I am now if it wasn't for WDW Radio.
So my problem isn't the pro-Disney stuff, it's just the unreliability of his show. We get maybe two a month now, and the overall quality of it just isn't what it used to be. The DIS blows it out of the water.

I think you'd be ok starting wdw today now because you would only know the new hosts. They sometime go over news, they sometimes do trip reports, they sometimes do previews of things like flower and garden etc. At the end of every show they do listener questions with Len Testa. Also they have Off Kilter exclusive intro and outro music.I like the Dish. Jim's a great storyteller.
I'm considering starting WDW Today. How is it... anything special?
THERE ARE NO OTHER PODCASTS, ONLY DIS

I have to say.... Besides Dis of course Im still a Lou Mongello guy. Quality has dipped lately but I have learned so much little stuff about the queues and the hidden treasures of the attractions from him that hes my solid #2 podcast
Great question, I wanted to know about video shows too, since that interests me personally much more than just audio. That's how I got hooked on The Dis, and also now Big Fat Panda and David's Rentals (that Panda also mostly does). I've also said in the past Lou seems like a great guy, but his "everything Disney is wonderful" and constant positivity just ain't what I'm lookin' for. I liked balanced, and honest, reviews and opinions.Other than WDWRadio, and Big Fat Panda -are any of these other podcasts venturing into video? I give Pete(and his team) a lot of credit because that was(and is) a pretty bold move on their part. It's not as if they had "TV" experience to make the transition smooth and professional(forgiving the occasional "bread crumb" slips) ..regarding actually being in front of the camera. There isn't a heck of a lot on TV that interests me anymore, so maybe two nights a week I'll catch one of the shows rather than watch traditional TV.
I haven't listened to Lou in a while, but he was putting out some great stuff -the Jim Korkis shows were the best out there for Disney history/backstory ...by a LONG SHOT. If anyone has interest in those type of things, do yourself a favor and find those episodes.
