Hey everyone! My name is Mariah and I am a senior in high school that LOVES Disney, but more importantly LOVES Disney food!;) I've always wanted to do a Disney dining review, so here it is!

My family and I went on our annual trip to WDW last September and were excited to revisit some of our favorite restaurants, along with some new places!:)

Since this was almost 4 months ago, I don't remember what days we went where, so I'll just post one restaurant at a time! We went to some real good places, so be ready;)

Reviews included for:
Teppan Edo
Chefs de France
Coral Reef Restaurant
Boma
Via Napoli
Sanaa
Be Our Guest
Ohana
Wolgang Puck Express
Narcoossee's
Kona
Snacks

Okay to start off, I'll begin with one of my family's favorite places: Teppan Edo! Which is located in Japan in the World Showcase at Epcot!

If you didn't already know, TE is a hibachi restaurant where they cook your meal right in front of you! It is amazingly cool and this last trip was even cooler because.....

We actually had a chef who was a woman! It was incredible! She was super friendly and extremely funny. My littlest brother, who is 9, really enjoyed her!

To start off, we had some delicious rice and noodles! I preferred the noodles and my other brother, who is 16, preferred the rice, so we shared with each other:)

Rice

Noodles

Shortly after that, we were treated to some veggies! My brothers and I are very picky and we don't like any vegetables at all, so they usually go to our mom!

Then it was time for our meats! I ordered the chicken and shrimp and I can not say enough how amazingly good it is! I love it:goodvibes

Chicken

Shrimp

If you love shrimp and chicken as much as I do (which is A LOT) then I would DEFINITELY recommend this meal!

And lastly, for dessert... I had the Green Tea Ice Cream! I LOVE it. My family, however, steered far away from it. It doesn't look all that appetizing, but it was extremely delicious.

My mom also got the Green Tea Cheesecake..

In conclusion, my family LOVES Teppan Edo and we always come back every year. Good food, good service, and good experience!

Our chef even made a steaming Mickey Mouse out of the onions:):):)

Highly recommend. :thumbsup2

Next up: Chefs de France!

The day we had this reservation, it had been POURING, therefore everyone waited to be seated was under the awning right outside the restaurant doors to stay out of the rain. It was a little cramped and there wasn't really anywhere to sit, but luckily we didn't wait too long to be seated.

Being on the free dining plan, first up was appetizers. I ordered the Soupe à l’oignon gratinée... or French Onion Soup...

Let's just say, I ate the entire bowl... it was AMAZING. I want more just looking at the picture right now. They put tons of cheese in it and I think that made it even better!

Next up was the entrée! I ordered the Gratin de Macaroni.. or baked macaroni and cheese.. and like any other macaroni and cheese it was very delicious! However, I liked the soup more!

It was still super yummy and cheesy though!

My mom had the Filet de boeuf grillé.. or Grilled Tenderloin of Beef.. for her dinner!

She thought it was good, not great. Didn't really "leave an impression" on her.

Then the dessert... SORBET. It was actually a trio sorbet dish called Assiette de sorbets du jour, madeleine.. or the daily assortment of sorbets.. and I don't quite remember all three of the sorbets they had that particular day, but I requested to have just pineapple sorbet! I love sorbet, so it was as delicious as always:thumbsup2

Super yummy, ate it all.

My granny also got the Plateau de fromages de France... or the cheese board.. to eat as well. She liked some of the different cheeses, but not all of them;)
(I apologize for the picture being so dark)

Overall, the service was FANTASTIC. I remember our waiter was very good about keeping our drinks filled which is big for my family because we drink A LOT.

I would definitely go back, specifically for the soup! I loved it. The rest of my family, however, didn't think it was one of those places that we just HAD to go back to:)

Recommend:thumbsup2

Now for a couple of snacks we had along the way!:cool1: Only the best part, in my opinion!

My mom tried the caramel drizzled chocolate cookie from Karamelle-Kuche in Germany at Epcot!

IT WAS AMAZING. Especially if you enjoy sweets because this cookie was very sweet and very rich! My mom couldn't even finish it all. I would definitely go back and get it again.

Now what would be a Disney trip if you don't get a Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwich?!

I love them... I usually get at least two every trip.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY... DOLE WHIPS.

This is probably one of the best things I have ever tasted at Disney. By far. I usually get at least a million when we go;) The lines are worth the wait.

Highly recommend all of these delicious treats:thumbsup2

Thanks for the dining reviews!

That soup looks delicious! I love pineapple sorbet, too. :)

And now what you've all probably been waiting to know about.. the fish eyes.
This takes place at Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot. One of my many favorites!

For my entrée I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi:)

I had had this the previous year to this trip and LOVED it, so I ordered it again. The mashed potatoes are some of the best ones I have had on Disney property! They're super delicious;)

My mom ordered the Grilled New York Strip Steak and thought it was very good!

Here's where the fish eye story comes into play... my 16 year old brother ordered the Pan-seared Sustainable Seasonal Catch which was a Yellow Snapper that day!

My brother really enjoyed his meal!

Enough to make a bet with my mom... at the time, he had been saving up for an Xbox One and was still just a bit short. So he decided to bet my mom that if he ate one of the actual FISH EYES from his yellow snapper, then she would have to pay for the rest of his Xbox One... and sure enough, HE DID:eek::sick:
It was super gross. Although, in the video we took you can hear him saying, "It's not that bad" and "It's kinda chewy" ...yes, he chewed it, he didn't just swallow it like a normal person would:lmao: So yes, he got the money for his Xbox One!

Now dessert time! Since this was so long ago, I actually don't even remember what this was called exactly because it was a special.. it's not actually on the menu.

All we really remember that it was "turtle" something... hence the turtle. But it was very good!

Mother got the Chocolate Wave with Strawberry Gelato and she always enjoys that!

And this was the cute little cupcake my little brother got with his meal!

Overall, the service is usually very good! We go back there every trip now because we love the food and the atmosphere so much! Being in a fairly big room with one complete wall being the huge aquarium is amazing! This last trip, there were actually people scuba diving in the tank (which we assumed were people from the tours that you can take at Epcot), but it was very, very cool.

Highly recommend:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Ha! As a gamer, I love the story about how your brother got the rest of his money for his Xbox One! :rotfl2:

Great reviews, great pics! That Dole Whip pic is sooooo yummy looking!

Well except for the fish eyes everything looks really yummy!

Your reviews and pics are great and I'm looking forward to reading more :)

Terri

Awesome reviews!!! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your adventure!

Here are some more tasty snacks! The snacks are my favorite part.

First up we have.... THE MICKEY PRETZEL:cool1:

This would be my youngest brother, Harrison, and he loves the Mickey Pretzels! You may be thinking "oh, it's just a pretzel"... but is it really JUST a pretzel?! No, it's a pretzel in the shape of MICKEY MOUSE! Can't get that anywhere else;)

Next up... the Olaf Cupcake!

This was a carrot cake (or chocolate, can't remember, but it looks kind of like chocolate in the picture) cupcake with vanilla icing and it was pretty good!
And this is what happens when a snowman loves summer too much;)

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Last one for this post is the Dole Whip Float (with orange ice cream instead of pineapple)

My mom likes the orange ice cream better than the pineapple, but she really loves having the pineapple juice at the bottom of the cup to drink!
I personally just like the original pineapple Dole Whip, but this is great too:thumbsup2

Recommend the Olaf Cupcake..
Highly recommend the Mickey Pretzel and Dole Whip Float:thumbsup2

Boma is next!!!

We have been here twice... loved it more the first time sadly to say.
The first time we went we had AMAZING service and our waiter was very friendly and very talkative (in a good way), but this last trip when we went the service was just okay. I remember we had to wait a significant amount of time to be seated, which was annoying considering we were there at least 15 minutes before our scheduled reservation. Then our waiter was not the best, definitely slow on filling up drinks. And the food wasn't as good as we had remembered.. still good though;)

Here is a picture of my plate that I had..

The mashed potatoes are AMAZING here as well. I usually get at least 2 or 3 helpings of them!:thumbsup2 The chicken they have (all different kinds) is also very scrumptious!

Sorry this is the only picture I have, but at least it's something!;)

If you like buffet, then definitely go! If not, this is a good buffet, but probably not the best at Disney!

Recommend:thumbsup2

And the WONDERFUL Via Napoli!:cool1:

With my brothers being pizza FANATICS, we always come here! And I love it too! So much as my cousin and I have decided to go there for one of our dinners on our senior trip in May! Now to the good stuff..

I had the Quattro Formaggi Pizza (four cheese pizza) that consists of mozzarella, parmesan, fontina, provolone.

This is probably the BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER ATE. My whole family loves it as well, so they usually get at least one bite of it when I have it;) It is a huge pizza, but I usually finish it all because it is just too darn good!:goodvibes

Unfortunately, I did not get pictures of everyone else's dinners (or desserts), but this pizza does some justice:)

However, I did just have chocolate gelato for dessert, and it was yummy:)

*side note* It is always absolutely FREEZING in there, so make sure you have a jacket or sweatshirt or something to cover your arms with!

Highly Recommend:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

what great photos and great reviews.

I feel like I have eaten it all with you..

Thanks for taking the time to do this

Time for.... SANAA!

I don't remember much about the service we had, but I do remember it was absolutely FREEZING in there... our waiter even had to bring us blankets that they had, crazy right?

Not a part of our dining plan, but we were at Sanaa so we obviously had to get the bread service!

Starting at the top of the dips, they were mild and continuously got hotter. Some were good, some weren't.. just depends on what you like! For me, this was definitely the best part of the meal.

For my entrée I got the what I thought was the Tandoori Chicken, but my mother argued with me that that's what my brother got (coming up).. so I don't really know for sure what I got:rotfl: but it was good, I know that:thumbsup2

So here's the actual Tandoori Chicken my brother got..

He didn't enjoy it all that much, but he is a very picky eater and doesn't like "sauces" on his meal... he's weird.

And for dessert I got the Dessert Trio with Tanzanian Chocolate Mousse, Banana Cheesecake, and Raspberry Sorbet!

This was very delicious! As said before, I LOVE sorbet so that was gone quick. As was the mousse. The cheesecake was alright, I ate it, just didn't care for the banana flavor all that much! Good portion sizes.

Overall, it was good. I personally would probably only go back for the bread service, it was yummy! And my cousin and I are also going to do that on our senior trip. Just going for the bread! I think my mom would definitely go back though.

Recommend:thumbsup2

Wonderful reviews! As a fellow sorbet lover, I must highly recommend the trio at Yak and Yeti for your next trip. In my opinion, it's the best ever! And I order the sorbet everywhere at Disney. There is a pic in my last dining report if you want a preview. Looking forward to the rest of your review. Keep it up!

Thanks for the dining reviews!
