Sorry that you were sick. Thanks for the reviews. I am looking forward to the other reviews. Pictures of the buffets are great!

Nice!! I love your pictures! subscribing because I love food reviews for some reason, especially since I have VERY picky children, I need to know where to go :)

What a shame you were all sick at WDW. Enjoying your reviews and pictures though. We ate at 1900 Park Fare in April - that place is LOUD

Great report and pics so far!

Question--at Pecos Bill, can you get the taco salad as a QS meal? I always thought you could, but I can't tell from the pic if there is a DDP symbol by it?

Thanks!

popcorn:: Joining in. Great reviews so far and love your pictures. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm sick in bed while reading your reviews and feeling bad so being on vacation and feeling sick is one of the worst time to happen...sorry to hear your family was not well during the vacation.

It is definitely not fun! I tell you, it was always my biggest fear that one of us would be sick for a couple of days and miss the parks and such so this was my fear times 10. I never imagined all of us being sick the whole time like that. So sorry you are feeling bad...hope it will pass quickly!

Hi Amanda....so sorry we missed meeting and that you all ended up sick.

Just a comment on Kona. We ate there only once for lunch and I had the Asian chicken chp salad and it was so salty I couldn't really eat much or enjoy it :( So sad because now I am hesitant to go back

I was so sad that we did not get to meet up! Did I tell you that I found that sheet of paper with your number on it in Landon's shorts pocket?? :rotfl::rotfl: I would have hated to make you guys sick though so hopefully we will have another chance some time.

I would still say to try Kona. Yes, the steak was salty but I would imagine you could tell them ahead of time not to oversalt your dish b/c other than that the food was very good there as was the service. :thumbsup2

Thank you! We are the pickiest of picky sometimes so feel free to follow our choices for picky food for the little ones. :rotfl::rotfl:

Yes, it was loud! Those step sisters have some pipes don't they? :rotfl2: I was rolling laughing at them.

Yes, you certainly can get it as a QS meal. :) I almost got it myself actually. It looks really good. :thumbsup2

Thank you guys so much for all of the compliments on the pics and such. :) I am going to try and work on day 3 now. We just got home from dinner at the Cracker Barrel so I am quite full at the moment. Maybe I can still stand to see food pics. :rotfl:

We started out with plans to get up early and head to the Studios on this day but we woke up feeling horrible so we went back to sleep for a bit. We woke up later and decided to get some lunch at Wolfgang Puck and then head to the park during the afternoon.

So back to WPE we go...

On this day we had the rosemary chicken and the chicken pocket sandwich (sorry, can't recall the name of it).

These were both great. I LOVED this sandwich!! It was the best! Very fresh! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Dessert was the swirled yogurt which I totally forgot to snap a pic of.

Later on we stopped into Goofy's Candy Co for some slushy drinks. :goodvibes

As always these are YUMMMMMMY!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We finally made it over to the studios. Sadly fast passes were gone for Toy Story and the wait was 70 mins we had to miss out on it. We strolled around for a bit and later made a stop over at the Writers Shop for a quick snack...

Cherry slushy and double chocolate muffin. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Loved both!

Dinner at Whispering Canyon to come!

Dinner this night was set to be at WCC. Ds6 was feeling REALLY bad this night. He was not hungry so he slept in 2 chairs for the entire meal after which he was really fevered and we were worried we would need to take him to the urgent care center. We got some Motrin in him and he did finally come around a little so we just got him back to the hotel to get some good sleep. :sad1:

We did the skillet and the pasta here both of which were pretty good. I also had a strawberry shake as my drink which I always enjoy!

The next day was our best day of the trip. I had hoped everyone was getting better this day but no such luck... still a nice day in Epcot with lunch at Chefs de France and dinner at Le Cellier. :thumbsup2

LOL.....that is funny.
DH is getting sick anyway. He is fighting a cold. I will probably get it, but we go home tomorrow, so I can handle it there ;)
For us, the heat and humidity is the killer. We don't have it in WA ;)

Hope you are all feeling better now.
We are planning a DIS exchanger meet for Dec. 2011 :rotfl: Think about it.

Just caught up with your review! Your family is simply amazing. Having to deal with being sick and still managed to enjoy yourselves, regardless :worship: Hats off to you...:thumbsup2

I feel so bad for you guys and having to be sick on your vacation and that your little one missed out on the fun at WCC. I guess you will just have to make another trip down there soon to make up for being sick on this trip :thumbsup2.

Enjoying your pictures and reviews!!!popcorn::

great reviews and pics. we love kona! trying chefs for the first time next week. hope you liked it.

What great photos. Thanks for sharing. We will be eating at WCC so I was glad for the pic of the pecan pie. I must say that doesn't look at all like the pecan pie I am used to. It is one of DH's favorite pies so I will now be sure to warn him that it isn't what he expected. I am glad to hear you like the pasta. Still haven't figured out what I am going to order. Probably won't get the skillet. Keep the photos coming. Food porn is so awesome. :goodvibes

Thanks so much guys! :) It definitely was horrible being sick while in Disney, esp when the whole family is sick for 9 or the 10 days. It was horrible luck to say the least. :sad1:

Did you get checked for swine flu?

For what it's worth, next time you go to the parks that sick, stay away from buffets. I'm sure not everyone wants to be sick right along with you.

I'm glad you had a nice trip, and these are great pics and dining report.

Just to add my .02- my son has asthma and every time he even gets a cold we end up in the ER because he has such a hard time breathing through it. I know you paid for your trip and you don't want to miss a moment, but please be considerate of those who will suffer more serious concequences than just a few days of discomfort due to your actions. God forbid you'd run into a make a wish kid or a person with who is immunio compormised. I know you wouldn't want to harm anyone, so please think of others before dragging a sick child all over the World.
