We just got back from Disney and I have finally been able to sit down and get my food pics together so here I am... :thumbsup2

A little background... We were SICK during our trip and I do mean during the WHOLE trip so it was hard. We were also traveling with a son with Sensory Processing Disorder so if you saw us and had to listen to my son have one of his fits I do apologize. He had a hard time during parts of the trip and sadly would have meltdowns while we were in certain places and even broke a dish or two. :sad2:

So, ready now??

Ok, the cast first...
Me... lover of sweets, what can I say?
Dh... lover of a good steak or good pasta!
ds6... pickiest of picky... hardly ever eats anything unless it is mac-n-cheese or pb&j.
ds3... another meat lover for his young age. ;)

Being sick this trip really took a toll on our appetite and you will be able to tell that by the end of the trip when we almost give up on eating... ;)

Here is a rundown on the places we filled our bellies!

Kona Cafe
Whispering Canyon
Chefs de France
Le Cellier
Tutto Italia
T-Rex
1900 Park Fare
CRT
Crystal Palace
Planet Hollywood
The Plaza
Boma

Wolfgang Puck Express
Cosmic Rays
Peco's Bill
etc...

Part One to come...

Looking forward to your reviews. Sorry to hear you were sick during your trip and hope you all are well now.

We arrived early this day and decided to make the trip over to the French Quarter to have a nice order of Beignets for breakfast.... Nice way to start a trip I say... (not sick just yet)

What can I say? These are YUMMY!! We all split this large order and all had nice messy sugar faces in the end.
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Later in the day we went out to Downtown Disney to have some lunch at our most favorite place- Wolfgang Puck Express. It did not disappoint .

We had the Rosemary Chicken and the Chicken Alfredo.

dessert was a cookie which was long gone and a frozen yogurt....

Everything was great and gets :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We debated long and hard on dinner for the first night. We could not seem to make up our minds but finally settled on heading over to Kona Cafe.

They start you out with bread and the most YUMMY butter ever! I mean really, I could make a meal out of this stuff!!

I had a cherry coke... gotta love a good cherry coke. :worship:

IMG_0106.jpg

We had the same meal... Did I warn you already that we are both REALLY PICKY??

Here is a nice example of that... :rotfl::rotfl:

IMG_0112.jpg

The steak was good but way too salty (and we like salt). We loved the potatoes and the boys really loved the fries. :thumbsup2

For dessert we ended up with the Torte and the Kona Kone.

Everyone was pleased with the desserts this night. :thumbsup2

All around this was a good meal. I say I would go back but dh does not agree b/c to him the steak was just to salty for his taste. I swear I would go back just for the bread!

I give Kona :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

That does it for day one of eats... Day 2 we wake up sick but the food must go on! ;)

Very sorry to hear you were sick during your trip! That had to be tough! I am looking forward to the rest of your reviews!

Was that steak at Kona the ribeye? And did it come with with mashed potatoes AND french fries, or were you just able to substitute a veggie for one of them? Great pics; keep 'em coming!

Thanks so much guys! :) It definitely was horrible being sick while in Disney, esp when the whole family is sick for 9 or the 10 days. It was horrible luck to say the least. :sad1:

The steak at Kona was the New York Strip. This is the way it would have come...Teriyaki-style New York Strip - sirloin strip grilled with pineapple teriyaki glaze served with mashed Yukon gold potatoes and stir-fried broccolini.
We just decided to get the french fries with it and it was no problem. ;)

This was another Magic Kingdom day. We woke up starting to feel pretty bad this day and ds6 had a fever so we got a late start. We split some lunch at Peco's Bill a little after 1pm.

Excuse this horrible picture. I really dislike flash pics but this place was PACKED and we could only get a tiny little table in the very back in the dark so I had no choice here... :rotfl:

I really enjoyed this chicken wrap from here. It was fresh and was nice for such a hot day.

Later in the day when ds6 got a little hungry before dinner we headed over to the Poly to get a sandwich from Capt Cook's. We had the Turkey Club with chips as well as a cup cake and cinn bun. This was all very good. :thumbsup2 I loved the bite of the club I had.

Next up is dinner at 1900 Park Fare!

So we had an adr for 1900 Park Fare this night and we were really looking forward to this one. Ds6 really loves the step sisters. He thinks they are so funny so I knew he would like this.

It was an absolute hoot. They were all so in character and funny. Ds6 promised Drizella a ring and a castle. :rotfl: They also shared two dances together. It was really priceless. He had felt horrible all day and just had no personality b/c of it but he really perked up for this meal which was so awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The food was decent... nothing great but nothing horrible but the entertainment with the Royal Family was the best. They spent so much time with everyone. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Here is a picture of one of my plates. I am not a fan of taking pictures of buffet plates as I don't like to see food piled up together like that... :rotfl: SOOO instead I took pictures of the whole line. I am sure you all don't mind, right??? ;)

Ok, I think that just about covers it. I think I spent about 30 mins trying to get these pics...lol Some lady stood at each place for a good 5 mins picking her food so I was waiting at each spot for her to finish. :rolleyes1

My faves here were the strawberry soup and the mashed potatoes. They were so creamy and had a great flavor. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

NICE PICS!!!!!

Sorry about not feeling well but you guys are troopers.......

WAiting for more..................:thumbsup2

Count me in! Great pics and reviews...sorry you were all sick, that is the worst thing when you are on vacation

I'd rather see the buffet pictures than the plates of food, anyway. :thumbsup2

popcorn:: Joining in. Great reviews so far and love your pictures. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm sick in bed while reading your reviews and feeling bad so being on vacation and feeling sick is one of the worst time to happen...sorry to hear your family was not well during the vacation.

Hi Amanda....so sorry we missed meeting and that you all ended up sick.

Just a comment on Kona. We ate there only once for lunch and I had the Asian chicken chp salad and it was so salty I couldn't really eat much or enjoy it :( So sad because now I am hesitant to go back
