ps...I have to say what a lucky chappie are Jason is

Secondly, I was stunned by the response to that last update... I had no idea it was going to come across as that amusing. Needless to say I'm grinning like an idiot today just knowing that I cracked up a bunch of people that I don't even know in the real world.![]()
"Please stop telling me that I need pants - Jason likes it when I don't wear pants!"

I can no longer subscribe to this, well quite shocking tale of filth and debauchery, poor grimace

Heheheh. Please share with Jason my thought when I read the comment about him liking you without your pants:
"Hmm....Brenda's literacy must be showing again!"![]()
Anyway, the other thoughts were about a song one of the actors who played Hathaway Browne at the Adventurers Club used to sing during the Hoopla! (last Library show of the night). It's "The Sheik of Araby", and a recurring line in the song is "...with no pants on".
And Brenda, I know that typos are the bane of your existence, but I had to give you grief nonetheless.![]()
I almost choked on my fruit loops when I read that! And then I had to explain to my 8yod why I was laughing so hard!!! Thank goodness you had that picture of Plankton in there--I showed her that and she believed me...

You are certainly a prolific writer! I have been busy and not on the DIS much so I just had to read five pages and four or five episodes to catch up! I loved experiencing V&A with you. The food looks great. It reminds me of a place we went to in Puerto Vallarta called Cafe' Des Artists. The food there was indeed presented very artistically and it was excellent.
Kudos on the great pictures and the fun and entertaining story. While I always feel sorry that you are shackled with Grimace, she does add a certain spice to the tale. Now get some pants on!
Pants are definately overrated.
GREAT installment. Tea came out my nose.

Being the sucker that I am, I ran to the 'puter and ordered the DVD on Amazon! I love watching that 2-hour DVD of Disney fasination!I was pretty sure that this was one of the few rides that Grimace would enjoy - I had researched it in advance of our trip and had been fortunate enough to catch the two-hour episode of Modern Marvels on the History Channel dedicated to Walt Disney World. They had a segment on Soarin' - how it was created, the ride machinery, some of the "secrets" behind the experience. It looked like a lot of fun in a tame, safe environment - just the sort of thing that Grimace could embrace in a half-hearted, lukewarm sort of way.
I looked over at Jay and he had a huge grin on his face (I knew he would) and then I glanced over at Grimace to see how she was enjoying herself...
and her eyes were closed.
Actually they were squeezed shut, as if she were enduring the worst pain of her life. She apparently didn't see a single frame of the movie throughout the entire ride.
When I quizzed her about it after we exited she answered, "I don't like to fly."
Jay and Jon both look as confused as I feel. "But you weren't flying. You were strapped into a giant erector set 10 feet off the floor in front of a giant movie screen."
"I don't like to pretend to fly, either."
I agree! Sheesh! Brenda's on a roll lately! It's hard to keep up!
The last installment killed me, too! Man, I would pay A LOT of money to see video of Grimace telling Brenda that was too much information for her!Let's hope Brenda is keeping her 'love shack' week of sin details of their upcoming trip in May to herself. I think their anniversary day alone would send Grimace screaming! Wooo is it getting hot in here again?![]()

Keep up the great writing, Brenda!!! We all love you!![]()
Cheers!

P.S. How'd the Dr. visit go?
Ok, now that's funny, I don't care who you are. I was laughing so hard that Jake and DH came into the room to make sure I hadn't gone 'round the bend.![]()

P.S. Seriously, you need to warn me to cover my monitor. I spat my water all over my monitor!!!![]()
Hi Brenda,
I stumbled into your TR 2 dys ago and have been hooked ever since.Excellant writing, I've really enjoyed reading your adventures with your family. My daughter always had to bring her special mascot " funny bunny " with us on all of our trips. LOL I can still remember her getting mad at me and my DS the first time she took it on an airplane. They made her put it through the security xray machine and we teased her about it's eyes glowing green .
She's 19 now and its at college with her.
Can't wait to read more.![]()
re: The Sheik of Araby:
I wonder if he still sings it? I'll have to listen especially hard next month when we stop in at the AC.
Sadly, the actor who sings this is not full-time at the Club anymore, but he will sub in for other actors from time to time. I hear he's currently doing other live entertainment around WDW.![]()
No-Pants-Brenda, you are just too funny.
And who knows...if the bank thing doesn't work out, you can always apply at the Maison Derriere.
And, as I'm sure everyone's probably thinking, hope you're feeling okay these days.![]()

I love the no pants comment to your mom but her response was classic! I love reading your TR - I can always count on being entertained!

At this rate everyone's going to have a nickname by the end of this TR - Grimace...Brenda-No-Pants... I gotta find something for the menfolk!![]()
In light of all this talk of pants, this seems too appropriate:
Belle: "Your son was trespassing on my property and destroyed a very valuable stone gargoyle, and ... are you wearing a grocery bag?"
Homer: "I have misplaced my pants."

My mom will still say that to me out of the blue now... "That's more than I need to know..." It's become her catch-phrase.![]()
