Ok, I have a Disney-related story about the Half-Blood Prince release date.
It coincided with a little shindig happening at Disneyland. 50th Birthday.
I had not thought that I would not be HOME to get this book before leaving
for my trip.
I had pre-ordered from Amazon and had them ship to my work addy. I even
told my boss to be on the lookout for it. Unfortunately, when I got back,
I found out that someone had sticky fingers because the book walked
off on its own. I managed to get a replacement from Amazon, though.
But that's not the point. The point is that while I was waiting in the biggest
line outside of the security checkpoint in DLR's Downtown Disney, people
in line everywhere had lugged their copies of the Harry Potter book with them.
I was actually in line for Disneyland and completely jealous of people who
had their book already. How sick is that?
And I ordered it from Amazon again, but I'm having it shipped to my home this
time around.
Ok, sorry to hijack the thread. I'll be good. I promise.
Ok call me confused but why would someone bring their HP book to Disneyland?!![]()

Oops, I neglected to mention that the Half-Blood Prince was released just
the day before, on July 16th. We were all waiting for Disneyland to open
on July 17, 2005....the actual 50th birthday of Disneyland.![]()
Hey, we can talk Harry Potter as much as anyone wants to!

I can't believe someone lifted your book - that is totally uncool.
