Love your reviews..

Wondering if someone had the scallops at Narcoosees....Heard you can substitute scallops for lobster with the surf and turf!!!

Narcoosees on my ADR!

Can't wait for your reviews! Love your pics!:surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

Loving your reviews! Cant wait to hear about Boma.

You were on the Basic DDP right? Did you think it was enough food? We're a bit worried as to how we should plan out our CS meals.

We were, and we found it to be more than enough food. We did alot of eating!! We looked at the menus for the CS meals and read reviews of different ones and decided on ones that had quite a bit of food. Like Flame Tree and Sunshine Seasons, which are in AK and Epcot give you so much food you can't finish, because in a few hours you are eating again. We also found to book dinner for your TS give you the best deal. I hope this helps!

My dad had the scallops, he said they were amazing. This was the meal that actually we did not go to because my and my sister did the Pirates and Princess Party and this was their special meal. My mom got the surf and turf I believe, I will have to ask her again, but she is a huge lobster fan, I do not see why you couldn't sub in

Thanks for sharing your reviews, I am really enjoying them. I love that mushroom filet, can't wait to have that again. Yak and Yeti is definitely going on the list since I saw that brownie dessert!

This does help alot! Thank you so much! :goodvibes I was wondering though, I may have just missed it, but what did you guys eat for breakfast? We plan on CS meals for lunch, and we have TS meals planned for dinner, but not sure what to do about breakfast [we're planning on hitting emh rope drops so food is important to get us going! :rotfl: ]. Snack credits for breakfast?

Hope you don't mind me answering your question about breakfast. We were on the basic dining plan back in November and we found that we could use 1 snack credit for a box of entenmenn's donuts at the store at our resort. This isn't a little package. This is a box of 6 (or is it 8) regular size donuts. This worked for hubby and I because it gave us breakfast for a couple days. And at 1 snack credit for the whole box - that was fantastic.

We also found that many times we just couldn't eat dessert, so we'd get something to go - something that would make a good breakfast option for the next day. And we also used snack credits for school bread, which was just so big that you never ate it all, but it made a great breakfast option.

Since 2008, you can no longer get something multi-serving for one snack credit. For example, the box of donuts. Sorry!

Well that stinks! Guess that does away with the $4 value of the snack credit.

We were in the little snack/gift area next to Snow Whites Scary Adventure in April and were picking up a box of those iced cookies $3.95 when we learned those are no longer a snack credit, the little animal crackers size box is $1.75 (?) is though, we decided we would wait. Not using a snack credit on what amounts to a $.75 box of cheap cookies. We used our left over credits at Goofys and in the candy stores in the parks to take stuff home to family and friends.

Thanks for the detailed review of Yak and Yeti. There wasn't a lot of information out about it when I first booked my reservation but the DIS has come through!!!!I'll be eating there in a week.:yay:

This may sound crazy but we packed pop tarts, nutri-grain bars, cereal bars and stuff in our suitcases, or would hit the bakery on the boardwalk in the morning, we could share one pastry between two. I didn't get pics of the pastries, sorr y about that, and for the most part we did the pop tarts, nutri-grain bars or left over meals, we were planning on hitting emh in the morning , but that kind of fell apart...:rotfl:
