My family are visiting Disney world in September and we have purchased the 10 day world tickets. Can anyone tell me if unused days can be 'cashed in' and if so how do we do it? If they cannot be cashed in does anyone have any advice for disposal of these days?
Also, as part of this ticket a "free" character breakfast is included. Am I missing something or are all the character restaurants in the parks not included and only a few in the resort hotels are. Can anyone further enlighten me on this and make a recommendation for breakfast with a character, my daughter will be 3 when we visit, thanks..

Welcome to the DIS Admiral :)

I'm just popping your post onto the UK Trip Planning forum so follow me there :teeth:

Before I do, just to inform you that you will not be able to cash in unused days on your 10 day World tickets.

Hi there:wave:

Personally it all depends on what characters your daughter wants to have breakfast with, Our Fav is the 1900 park fare(grand floridian hotel), the chararcters were winnie the pooh, eeyore, tigger, alice in wonderland and the mad hatter, with mary poppins waiting outside to greet guests, because of this is one of the "Poshest and expensive" hotels on disney property, we thought it was also great to see how the other half live!!, the hotel is fantastic. Character interaction is VERY good if you book for 8.00 in the morning.

The other breakfast we have tried is AK breakfastsaurus, with mickey, donald, pluto goofy etc. Whilst its very relaxed ,the food isnt that good, but im sure your daughter would love it!.

Thanks Jules,
I thought that also, about seeing how the other half lives. My daughter is at the age where she would be happy to see any character. So, I will take your advice and book the breakfast at the 1900 park fare. Once again, thanks.

Just arrived back from my 1st Orlando trip on Sunday (18/08/03).
we also purchase 10 day world tickets and having spent 3 weeks in Orlando easily used all 10 days.
Again like you, we were given vouchers for a character breakfast and were disapointed that they could only be used in certain places. After checking in The Unoffical Disney guide book (well worth purchasing) we decided on the Ohana at the Polyonesian Resort intially as our 5 year old son likes Goofy.
What a morning we had, all our best christmas mornings rolled into one.
Ohana is a family restaurant and you are made to feel special from the moment you arrive.
We were seated by our server and given fresh fruit, pineapple bread and drinks whilst waiting for our breakfast.
Dale came over and started to shower our youngest with kisses, he is bowled over by this (surprising as the day before in Goofy's Jamboree he was scared) then Chip arrives and the server tells him that Dale has given Ross 10 kisses. So then Chip and Dale start to fight over Ross. We laughed so much we cried.
Goofy arrives and starts to act up also. Our 16 year old forgot his age and even joined in.
Mickey came around too. We had alot of time with all the characters and were visted at least twice by them all.
They also give instruments to the children to join in a dance around the restaurant. Dale came back for Ross to lead the dance.
Breakfast was a large platter with bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns, mickey waffles and french toast (more offered whilst you were eating) Great food, wonderful morning with lots of attention.
Certain recommend the Ohana as good characters to diners ratio.

we have always managed to use all the days on our 10 day pass! Because you can't cash them in, you are freed up from feeling the need to 'save' them, and can pop into the park for a couple of hours on an evening guilt-free, one of our favorite things to do

We are going again end of Sept and have done several disney character b'fasts. We loved Crystal palace with Pooh and friends. This year we have booked 1900 park fare but could only get dinner, still will be fun. we also have a ten day ticket and have booked chef Mickey as the reviews and personal reccommendations have made me curious. The garden grill is fantastic for dinner. It is at epcot near the land ride. Micky and friends will entertain your 3 yr old for sure.:Pinkbounc
