I just checked out of Gaylord & received daily housekeeping and Loews Sapphire Falls with daily housekeeping reminder from front desk that I did not receive because of DoNotDisturb left on door ..would I like to reschedule?

Remember when Disney started charging for resort parking because “other hotels in Orlando were doing it” Funny how that doesn’t work with daily housekeeping.
Covid is just an excuse for Disney
We were a Sandals resort in Oct 2020 and an Excellence resort in March 2021 - housekeeping was twice a day every day
And if the front desk turns me down, I will speak directly to the housekeepers that I see in the halls and let them know that I would like my room serviced and that I have left them a cash tip in the room.
We just returned from our 4 nights at BC. We checked in around 7pm. I was offered no housekeeping at check in. I asked if we could please have full housekeeeping. She asked "for which days". I asked for days 3 and 4, since we would not need it for day 2 based on only sleeping in the room on check in night. She made a note in the iPad. When I then asked if we could have it for all 3 days, she said there may be a charge, and went to talk to someone else. She came back and said no extra charge but indicated I needed to pick only 2 days, not 3. Ok. On morning of day 3, I saw a house keeper in our hallway and asked if we were on her list. She looked confused. I asked her to clean the room and told her there was a tip there for her ($20) in the room. Room was amazingly cleaned when we returned that night. The next day, we left for early entry at 6:30am, so there were no housekeepers in the hall. Left $20 and note on the beds. Came back to room at 4pm, NOT cleaned. I called housekeeping number, told someone would call me back. Housekeeping manager called a few minutes later, said my request from check in day was not conveyed to Housekeeping. I asked if they could still service the room, and she said yes, around 6pm. No problem since we were heading back to the parks that evening. When we returned that night, room was amazingly cleaned.
So, yes you can get full housekeeping, but you are going to have to work for it. It was worth it to me to do it. The work the housekeepers are doing is excellent quality, they even left a Mickey towel sculpture on our bed! Had I not asked each day, I don't think we would have even had towel/trash, since no one ever came to the room other than the two full services that I detailed above.
I got a survey about our stay when we just got back. I heavily emphasized how disappointing the lack of full housekeeping is, and how their competitors are doing it. I don’t think it will do any good, but it felt good to write it down everywhere on the survey that I could.
