Antigua! We booked an excursion on the Excellence Power catamaran today at 12:40. We slept in and had breakfast via room service! Loved it. Anyway the kids didn't want to go so they stayed in the club and we got to do something alone! I highly recommend this excursion. My favorite thing is that you meet it right off the ship. I hate taking a bus so I look for excursions that I can get right at the dock. The crew was very professional and personable. They weren't begging for tips as I have seen on other excursions and the boat was new and extremely clean! It was really nice! I would do it again. The weather was beautiful and the ride was great! They were very careful and concerned about the well being of their passengers. I was completely impressed with the entire trip! They stopped at a nice beach and we enjoyed parking right on the beach and walking down the ladder. It wasn't mentioned on the flyer that we would stop at a beach, it was just supossed to be snorkeling trip. We loved the beach though. Also they provided really good rum punch and a non-alcoholic Captain's punch that was incredible! Another surprise was that they provides tuna sandwiches with the crusts cut off and homemade banana bread. WOW. Like I said we thought this was great. DH walked to the shops and bought himself a watch! I took the kids as well since it is right off the ship but they weren't impressed. We headed back to the ship while DH was getting links removed. Shortly before sail away I got a call from someone asking if my husband was on board yet! He wasn't but he made it. This is a running joke with us. He likes to get the full experience everywhere we go so he shoots to be one of the last ones on.

Tonight's show was Twice Charmed and we had never seen it before! We got there a little early which was easy since we were only one deck up from the Walt Disney Theatre. We sat in the middle center for perfect viewing. As it turned out Duckie Williams (disney artist) sat right behind us. He asked dd and ds what their favorite character was. I thought he was just making conversation so when dd said Cinderella he pulled out a sketch pad from his jacket like magic and started sketching! We couldn't believe it. Then he signed it to dd from Cinderella and his name. So cool. DS said his was Stitch and he proceeded to do the same thing for him. How much fun was that. The show was awesome! We loved the Evil Godfather! A very original story we loved it. I can't wait to see it again!

It was Princess/Prince Dinner night but we had reservations at Palo. The kids decided to go down together and eat in the dining room anyway. DH walked them down. They just loved the servers so much that they wanted to eat there instead of room service! We were sorry to miss the white chocolate slipper dessert but the kids saved us one. It was funny because ds wanted to "clean" it out for us so he ran it under hot water! You can guess what happened! It melted. The servers sent us a menu as well to keep how cool!

Palo with Marco as our server was amazing as always. We had a cozy booth and Marco brought out some favorites before we even ordered. Pizza, the olives and dips. Yum. I ordered a bellini and the shrimp appetizer. DH ordered the mozzerella and tomatoes and I'm sure other stuff that I can't remember. Anyway we had rack of lamb for dinner because it is sooooo good! I also had some seafood risotto (unbelie vable) and gnocci (just okay). We could barely squeeze in dessert. Chocolate souffle for dh and Marscapone (sp??) for me. Also for the 1st part of our dinner a man at the table next to us kept talking really loud about new Disney talent. I couldn't wait for him to leave since it was kind of annoying. I couldn't help but hear him say the name Bianca and 12 years old over and over. He also mentioned Hannah Montana. I would find out the next night that he must talking about Bianca Ryan the winner of America's got talent.

I can not wait to hear about Christmas Day on CC....

I love reading your report..Keep it coming please!!!!!

While you are waiting for 'mrsnesbit', I am working on our TR from the holiday cruise in reverse order, so I have Christmas Day on CC posted at http://www.jrgray.net/dcl2006/dcl2006_10day.html if you want to see what we did and what the beach looked like on Christmas.

We're really enjoying your TR!

DH wants to know if those Bloody Mary's at Palo were actually "Tuna OR Shrimp Bloody Mary Cocktails"? Did you try one?

St. Thomas! We woke up at the crack of dawn or earlier and drag the kids down to WDT to wait for immigration. They told us to be there at 6:30 if we had an excursion but the doors weren't open and then immigration didn't arrive until 7:00. That was a bummer. We got through quickly and got breakfast and dressed for another excursion, this time with the kids! 7:40 am. We had to force them since they wanted to stay on the ship. We took the 5-star to St. John. I said in another thread that I would call it the 2-star. It was not nearly as nice as the one in Antigua. The boat was right on the dock so that is what I like. I really wanted to see St. John so that was another plus and I read good things about it on this board. Too bad it didn't live up to what I read. Oh well. The boat was gross and the crew was sloppy and not really concerned about their passengers. We were supposed to snorkel from the beach in St. John but instead they anchored off the beach and used a rubber boat to take 6 people at a time back and forth. Apparently they had 2 rubber boats but some of the crew didn't show up for work so they could only run one at a time. Nothing was mentioned about the rubber boat in the description and there were some older people who were not to happy about trying to fling themselves into a rubber dinghy bumping up against the side in very choppy water. The "punch" was just water with red color in it. Everyone was talking about how bad it was. Okay enough of that! Actually ds was happy to have 2 friends and their families onboard. That worked out well for him!

We got back and had snacks at the pool then I decided to go into town to shop. I went in and out of lots of stores and didn't find a thing UNTIL the last store! I almost didn't go in. I was proud of myself for not buying stuff I didn't need but then I found some great jewelry that I really like and a beautiful handpainted ornament. I was happpy with my purchases then I heard the Disney horn and hustled back to the ship! I got on with 15 minutes to spare! I'm turning into dh!

I went to the show alone as dd was sleeping and ds had no interest. It was shining stars at sea with Bianca Ryan(winner of America's got talent) and Paris Bennett(American Idol) I didn't really watch the shows but my best friend is really into American Idol so I thought I would go and take pictures for her. It also clicked in my head that this was the Bianca that the Disney vp was talking about at dinner the night before. I sat right in the front to get pictures but it was so dark and I didn't want to use my flash that they didn't come out too good. Biance came out first in just jeans and a tshirt and chuck taylors. She is very young but so talented! She sang mostly Christmas carols which I loved. Paris came out and she was very polished and quite an entertainer. She was very good as well and I was happy to have gone to the show. I look forward to seeing how they end up using the girls on the Disney channel. If you watched the parade on TV you should know that they were onboard with us and that their segments were taped ahead of time!

Dinner was at Parrot Cay and once again we enjoyed Emmanuel and Anastacsia! My dd made friends with the little girl at the next table the night before while we were gone and so we ended up closing down the place talking with her family. I felt bad when I looked around and they were setting up a party for the crew so we got out of there, so our servers could clean up and start the party.

Since we were up so early I read a book and went to sleep!:hourglass

My dh had one so I will ask him. The sign says tuna and shrimp so I guess that is what they were. Anyone else know?

Love the report keep it coming......

I bought them at the online disney store for seriously like $3 each! Just after summer this year. I knew we would make use of them at some point! When we booked the Holiday cruise in November I decided that is what we would wear to board! The online Disney store has great deals! I also got them in orange.

The shirts we wore are on disneyshopping.com for $4.99 each. You can also find coupon codes to take a % off if you search coupons on google. If you want to be even better you can make your own shirts on the website for only like $9.99 a shirt. They personalize them.
