WHOOOOO!!!!!
Less than 10 days to go now!!!
We leave Nov 1st for our family's big GF celebration!
We're bringing our DS who is 5 months, and our DD who is 4, and she does not know about it.
We're going to wake her up that morning-with the video camera-and holding a pink minnie mouse tutu costume. We'll tell her to put it on, bc we're about to get on the plane for Disney!
....Our family has been through alot and accomplished some very special things. DH and will have been married 10 yrs next summer. When we were married, we didn't know what our future would exactly bring. We were told I would never be able to have children for certain, and that we should enjoy the years we had together, bc they would probably be few. And that those years would be filled with lots of hospital stays, IVs, medications and tests.
See, I was born with Cystic Fibrosis and diagnosed at a year old. Actually, I was given a dream come true trip (like make a wish) when I was 5, bc my family was told my time was up.
My hubby- to- be learned all he could about my Cf. And we were married.
Our years certainly have been filled with hospital stays, meds, IVs, and some very hard times. We dreamed of having a small family of our own. But it wouldn't be an easy road. We were told no time after time.
With an incredible amount of HARD WORK, love, perseverance and FAITH-I was able to get pregnant safely, and gave birth to my precious, spunky and healthy daughter. A walking miracle.
Of course we wanted a sibling for her, but this would prove to be even harder for me to achieve than my first baby! How could we ask to win the lottery twice in a lifetime?!
5 months ago we welcomed our precious baby boy.
We are so filled with appreciation and love. We have had our share of life or death tough times. But things are ok now, with hard work every day, we're making it. It isn't easy, for sure. And there are tough days. But our children are what gets me up each day, fighting, and we've made an incredible life for them.
So this trip is a celebration of the family we never thought we'd be able to have. And an inspiration to people everywhere that are told NO!!!!!!
We can't wait to be standing by the castle, watching Wishes...holding our 2 babies...the tears will be flowing.
Keep fighting, and above all, have faith Don't give up!
