Hey, fellow Snowbird here subbing to your PTR. I'm a little late to the party, but I did manage to read everything. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sure that WDW will make you feel better.

I still don't know how to surprise my DD. We could wake her up (for a 7:55am flight) and tell her, tell her at the airport or just let her figure it out for herself. She may be 6 yrs old, but she is one smart cookie!

Today has been a hard. My Mom has been gone three months, and it seems like so much longer then that. I have not been sleeping well, due to dealing with the insurance company and hospital. Trying to get an itemized bill from them is impossible. I am only forward my mom’s mail from her address, but yesterday I received a bill in her name and my address. How they got my address I don’t know. I also got a credit card offer in her name and my address. One of those scam ones. You know send $39.oo. I don’t know how they got my address with her name. Is it possible the post office gives out that information? It is just upsetting.
I got up today and told DD and her friend lets go to the mall today. I just was not up to staying home. Then I seem to see every Mom and daughter shopping together possible, at the mall. I just miss her bunches. We use to go to lunch every week and then hit her favorite, the dollar tree. There is one near her house but not as good as the one a bit away from us. It is just strange not to pick up the phone and call her. The hardest thing has been having left overs. This sounds strange I know, but any time we had left overs I always took them to her. We had left over salmon the other night, and she loved how I made it on the grill. She seldom cooked big dinners for herself anymore. She was always a big cook too. Especially, like beef stew like we had the other night or chicken cacciatore that I made tonight. My niece called me the other day at work to tell me she had a dream and Grand mom helped her make chicken soup in the dream. My Mom always made homemade chicken soup. When she was telling me the details it was as if my mom did tell her how to make it in the dream. I said to her well maybe she wants you to make the soup, and bring me some because I miss having it. My DH and DS aren’t big soup eaters, so I really dont make it much.
Sorry for being depressing, just missing my mama a lot today.

DD came home today from her sleep over and said mail from Mickey again. I grab it up and yup it was real magical mail! I said where did this come from she said the mail box. No one got the mail yesterday.

Of course right on the envelope it states important documents, magical express. I dont know if she read it or not.I also got a letter in a different envelope stating our trip was paid in full. I tore that up in front of her and said who has the money to go to disney after christmas, some deal disney is given! I hope that worked. What confuses me is that I got the mail yesterday, least I thought I did, maybe it was mail left over from Friday or maybe I did not get the mail Friday. Who knows? Maybe Mickey was in Pa. today and deliverd it himself.
Thanks Mickey! This makes our trip so close!

Thanks for all the hugs. I know that Thanksgiving and Christmas would be really hard on me. I am trying to stay upbeat, and remembering my Mom and all the great times we had with each other.

Hi, Thanks! We were very close. I am the youngest out of seven, yes the baby. So I think that is why we were close more then the other children.
DME-I paid one week and got then the next week.

I know it's coming!

We paid the trip off in September when I changed everything around because my sister couldn't go.

Between all the changes I made when the deal came out and the fact that I booked through a TA I know it will most likely be a little longer. I keep hoping though!!

If I am right, I think your TA will get your magical mail. I have not used a TA since our trip in 2005, but I am sure she gave them to us.

I found your TR and started reading it, when I saw your pics I realized I read your TR from your last trip. We have a trip booked for Aug. but might cancel it ds15 does'nt want to miss football practice again since he did'nt get to play in the first game this year, because of our last trip, so we are thinking about taking a winter trip. I would love to see the Christmas decorations but I don't want to be there with the Christmas week crowds. I'm sorry to hear about your Mom, I'm sure it's more difficult for you at the holidays, a trip to Disney and some quality time with family will be good. I'm looking forward to reading more. Linda

Hi Linda,
My DS played football,so I know how Aug. becomes all about FOOTBALL. His coaches looked down on anyone going to the shore in Aug. I dont know if I could do Aug. again in wdw, just because of the heat and the crowds for free dinning. I am hoping the crowds are not so bad this trip. Though I know it is a busy time. I figure least we wont have the heat to deal with.
I am going to take lots of pictures.

Hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving. I cooked dinner yesterday. We want and saw BOLT in 3D. It was a cute movie, I enjoyed it in 3D. Many more movies coming out in 3D, that looked cute also. I wish they would do a pirates in 3D.The hamster was so cute. I could squeeze him. DH was not to happy about going to see it, but he laughed more them me. He liked the movie, more then he thought he would. We then came home and ate pie and watched the Eagles finally win a game.
I did not go out shopping today, there was nothing really for me on sale. I did see a couple of things but they are on sale till Sunday, so I go out tomorrow for them. I use to love getting up early and shopping on black Friday. I just don’t get excited about it anymore. I will miss my Mickey globe from JC penny. I have one from each year. Last year I got lucky and my niece worked there and got me one. Off to wash some clothes.

Today I received magical mail. Our packet came. I love the new luggage tags. They are so cute. The vouchers are bit different then the last time. These are all attached inside of the packet with Mickey on it. Like the magical express packet. I am so excited now! DD slept over a friends house last night, so no close calls with magical mail. Only 32 more days till we will be going to Disney world!! I am too excited. I think DH is tired of me telling him. I have so much still to do. I still have like three days on our itinerary that are empty. I need to figure out what to do about the letters for the school. DD and DS school policy is you have to notify in writing two weeks prior tot he trip. They also are supposed to take a form around to all of their teachers to inform them, and have it signed by them. In our case we can not do that. I will have to call Monday and see what they can do to help us out. I don’t need a teacher ruining my surprise by saying hey have fun in Disney world.
Today DH and I are painting, and then DS has a basketball game and then I hope to go do some shopping.

DD is wanting to go to WDW in July and is will pay for my air, room, and tickets. I just have to come up with the money for food and shopping. If we do that maybe we can make it a surprise for her kids.
