Can you say "I hate my job", or the one I am left with! The CFO in Dallas who used to be my boss, called last week and asked me to help with the bank recs since they are so far behind. So of course I say ok. Well now he doesn't like my "tone" they have made so many mistakes and this bank rec is almost impossible. I said I don't know what you want I can just fix it, since you don't want me to point out the mistakes they will continue to happen!

Now he is back peddling and appreciating my help!!!! UGH- gotta play the lotto!!

HUGS Joanne!!!! So sorry about that - I know how easy it is to mess up Bank recs and then the longer it goes without being reconciled, the harder it is to find any discrepancies. Sorry you have a crummy boss!

We really miss the kids being younger. Tommy loves to tease kids so I am sure he will find Ellis.

:thumbsup2 Sounds like fun:thumbsup2... At the start of the cruise Ellis couldnt understand half the peoples accents anyway so he never understood half of what they were saying:lmao:.... I used to have to translate til he got used to it:rotfl2: I'm sure you'll have the same problem with us though
:rotfl:

We went on the Kakamangus Hwy today. It was great. The weather was nice. It got alittle chilly by the end of the day. Tomorrow is Mt Washington. Hope the weather stays nice for us. Di

That's a very nice ride. You should have good weather today as well. But looks like more crummt stuf coming in for the weekend. When do you head back?

Hi everyone!

I posted on the other thread, but I figured I'd stop in here too. I would LOVE to join your meet. We've met some awesome DISers through out the years and we look forward to each one!

My family (DH/DD3) and my BIL (his DW & DS1) just booked this cruise a couple of weeks ago - it was a spur of the moment thing...this will be BIL & his family's first cruise and we are so excited for them. :cool1:

Looking forward to meeting you guys...:goodvibes

*Also, I wanted to add - may we join in on the Dis Tag as well? We had a blast participating the last couple of times...since I'm a newbie to this thread, I'm not familiar with whom I should PM or email in order to join. THANKS!*

Hello and welcome. I'm Nancy K traveling with DH Dan. We are retired. We've been on 3 4-day cruises but this will be our first 7 day.

And in London we have beautiful clear blue skies and the sun in shining. We did have the mother of all storms yesterday evening though.

We're seeing the sun for the second day in a row! WE migth even see it tomorrow too before rain comes in overnight. Then it's supposed to be showery until Monday. Can't believe it's the middle of June & we haven't even put out AC's in yet. Save electricity though!
Have a nice day everyone!

My ds # 2 is going in next summer after college, he is in ROTC at FSU. I am not looking forward to him leaving, but he can't wait to see the world.
:grouphug: for your brother. I am hoping all that is over soon.

We have lived in Germany, Guam, NY, Maine, CA and here. I would love to go back to germany, that was my favorite spot!!

Where is your brother stationed? Does your sil have friends or family near to help?

Don't think we ever crossed paths! I have been to Guam, but just on the way over to the Philippines. In all my traveling life, we never made it to Europe (been all over Asia, though). We lived in California when I was little (Travis AFB). Texas too - (San Antonio where dad was a TI, and Fort Worth - Carswell - when there was a base there)

Brother is stationed in Little Rock, Ark. Just moved there a couple years ago from Alaska. His wife's entire family is there, so she is lucky to have that support. These are their first children (and my first niece/nephew (??)) so we are excited but sad we live so far away! My parents are only about 9 hours from them in Pcola.

Hugs to your son - I can't imagine my kids growing up and leaving (well, maybe the hormonal, pre-teen :lmao:) but I agree that seeing the world is an awesome adventure. I almost wish I had joined the AF just for that experience! (I HATE not having an ID card - had to give it up the day I got married :sad1:)

We do have a lot of different accents depending on where you live. I have trouble sometimes with the accents and we live in the US. We of course do not have an accent. :rolleyes1

Yay!! We are all so chatty this morning! It was very lonely and quiet yesterday!

DH and I were talking about Palo - looked at the menus at ***************** and I was thinking that Brunch would be better than dinner.

Any opinions from past cruisers? If dinner, what night is best?

:sick:Good morning everyone. I am on my 2nd day being sick at home in bed.

It's like a very nasty cold with a cough, sneezing, congestion and overall achiness. It's good to see some activity on the board. I'll be on today as I watch TV. Yesterday I watched, The Breakfast Club, The Dark Knight, and Days of Thunder. It was a good day on HBO.

Go for dinner, unless you want shrimp and they have this in abundance at the brunch. Jeff would recommend going on Master Chef night (not sure which one this is). If you don't want to bring too many clothes, go on the 2nd formal night. That way you still have to dress posh on 2 nights.

Hi Nancy! One of these days we are going to make it up there. :woohoo:

Any time - although I don't recommend winter unless you want to ski - which we don't.

Can I get a Maine FO

Most certainly.

We did brunch & it was great. Never done dinner. For the money I thought lunch was certainly enough. Can't imagine what they would have had different at night! Either way you'e not going away hungry.
