Good morning everyone...

Things are going well in our house today. We are gearing up for the big snow. It sounds like we will most likely get in excess of a foot. This afternoon I'll make sure the snowblower is gased up and ready to go.

Well, I have to head out and get ready for services today. I'll check in briefly from the office.

I thought the Columbia House too but Casey's hotdogs are my favorite. guess it can be my second favorite place to visit for fast food. Di

I still don't know where Casey's is.

I think my favorite counter service is the Pecos Bills. They have the best toppings bar! I'm a burger kind of girl. Casey's would be my second choice.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday. I have to work since we only have 4 more sleeps :)

Here's wishing you 2 a safe & fun trip. Seems like you're always going somewhere!

We are getting sick of it
Just got through watching the weather. Here we go again. starting tonight and into tomorrow we are due to get 10-15 inchs of more snow. On top of the 14 inches we had last week we are running out of places to put it.

If this keeps up I know we will have to make a trip south just to get a break.

Everybody have a great Sunday.

I should add to Dan's post - we ARE going south in a couple of weeks - South Portland!!

Casey's is on main street on the same side of the blocka s the Disney gift shops right before you get to the castle. Just hot dogs and french fries.

Karen--do take care of yourself there girl, don't try and overdo it, back pain is no fun to deal with.

Sounds like you need some....:flower3: :wizard: :flower3: :wizard: :flower3: :wizard: :flower3:

Ahhhh Thanks Andy:hug:

Now I remember - I don't care for hot dogs all that much so that's probably why I didn't remember it......Another Maine snow storm coming......

Good morning, All! A quick check-in here as I take a break from a research paper.

Thanks Mimi:hug: Even his teacher is at the end of her tether with him lately:sad2: . Kids eh!

 does it ever get better:rotfl:

We had about 2.5 years where every 4 months or so, we would have loved to have run ours up a flagpole and left him there. By 16 though, he was telling his 13 year old sister to be quiet because we knew what we were talking about. While I think that 16 is a bit unusual, I do think it gets better for all of us.

Good morning peeps:goodvibes

As you can see by the time of the post I'm up at stoooopid o clock again.

Neil has tossed and turned all night and barely got any sleep. Poor man is back there this morning and may not come home tonight.:sad2:

I have the in laws visiting this afternoon so I had to get up early to plow through the housework in time for them to arrive. Everything takes 3 times as long with my bad back at the moment. I've tried to keep up with stuff, but I am behind.

I've already done the bedrooms so far (by 7am), but its aching again now so I've stopped for painkillers and a cuppa. Next is :laundy: and ironing:rolleyes:

As soon as the shops open I have to do the "big" shop, goodness knows how I'm going to push the huge and heavy trolley - I can barely walk round:rotfl:

Ok, back to work, later peeps.

Karen, I am so sorry you are suffering so much and have so much to do.

Shove it all in a cupboard and shut the door. They'll never know.

I'm all for this method!!!! The washer and dryer make great places to hide clutter in an emergency.

We are getting sick of it

We are actually supposed to get snow down here today - not much, but of course, merely the threat sends everyone hurrying off to the grocers to get milk and bread. We don't need either and have a nice fire going.

I still don't know where Casey's is.

Very close to The Crystal Palace, on the left jsut before you get to "the hub" of the park.

Karen, sounds like you're overdoing it a bit! Take it easy!

Which Hazel has the March 3rd birthday? Our grandson will turn 3 that day.
(That's which not witch!)

Thanks for the picture Mimi. Now I remember. AS I said to Joanne, I'm not a fan of hot dogs so I've never been there....... Hope you enjoy your snow - at least it will melt a lot faster than ours!!!!!

Us too! March is definitely coming in like a lion! They are predicting 8-14 for us. We haven't really had a big snow this winter, so I don't think we can complain. I actually enjoy it sometimes - I have a Subaru Outback that is fun to drive in the snow. Plus I'm allowed to work from home, so I don't have to go out in it if I don't want to.

No sense fretting about it - it's coming no matter what we do! :)

Snow on the ground this morning. More expected tonight. Thankfully, I am not scheduled to work... if it actually materializes this time, Matthew will be at work until tomorrow evening!
