we didnt bring any back but cath and liv were shopping last week in manchester and they found some in the american section of selfridges , boy they were good

I was just reading about the upcoming changes to the Magic for dry dock...they all sound great!!!

I agree! I haven't actually used the Quiet Cove area, but it just looked like another pool and I'm just not that into pools. I have to go when the kids want to go. But, I just might try it out with the changes!

As for the kids' clubs check in: Awesome! It will be great if it works out. I always had to leave extra time for picking them up when we needed to get somewhere (dinner, show etc).

That sounds neat Lori I was wondeing if any of the VA BOBers was going to have the opportunity to see the Magic in drydock. It sounds like their going to be doing some nice improvements

Depending on how long she's there, we might go out and visit. We are definitely having "cruise withdrawal" symptoms right now!

i must say, i got the best present ever.....
our grandson BRADY MICHAEL was born today around 1:00.PM

everyone is fine.
weight 7 lbs 14 oz....height 19 inches.
robin will try to post pics tomorrow.
its been a crazy day(and i have to go to work now).

Brent stated tonight at the show that we are now headed southwest in the area on the Florida Keys to stay away from Hanna. Tomorrow is a scheduled sea day anyhow, so we will see where we go from there on Friday......

Still having a great time and enjoying the ship no matter where we go......

Even with your weather, I am entirely jealous: you have the best crew! Captain Tom and Brent were on our Med cruise! Now all we need to find out is if our Laura is on the ship too! (A CM that we ran into endlessly... and wonderfully! One of the entertainment group that did the deck activities and Studio Sea activities!)

When we were at the US Open (seeing dreamy Roger Federer ) in NYC we were sitting next to a guy from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He works with Deanna Favre's sister. He got her on the phone when he found out we were Packer fans. She told him to tell us that we DON'T know the whole story, that Brett never wanted to leave Green Bay, and that Ted Thompson has been trying to get rid of Brett since Thompson got to Green Bay. Now, this is entirely her opinion and her side of the story. I know that Packer fans will never know what really happened. It is just really, really sad!

Thomas looks adorable. Zachary started 1st grade on Tuesday and Teddy started MIDDLE SCHOOL. I can't stand that he is that old already...how did that happen?

Hi Cass!! It has been a long time for me, but now that my guys are back in school maybe I will have a little more time to chat once in a while. How is the temperature by you? Is autumn in full bloom yet? We went from 88 degrees on Monday to 59 degrees today. I hate it when it happens so fast.

Funny you ask...one day (about 10 days ago now I think) I was complaining about how hot it was, hoping for fall weather and the very next day, I got it!! It went from stinking hot to cool! It's been freezing lately, more like November weather instead of September weather!

But I like it so it's all good

I'm not a pool girl either...well I'm not a sun-girl so I tend to stay out of pools during the day but at NIGHT....hot tub and then pool to cool off ...SIGH Heaven!!!

Every night on the cruise I like to sit in the hot tub...it's so cool to look up and see the stars and the clouds moving. That's when I know I am on vacation

She just has a nasty cough. Usually with that, they send the kids right home. She seems to be doing better now though, driving me nuts in fact!

Our DD is 8, DS is 6.
