OK, BOBers...I hate doing this but may I impose on a few thoughts and prayers for my daddy please? Seems like he fell for the 4th time this summer and is hurt again. Most of you remember last December and that he ended up in the hospital until April because of it. I won't go into detail here (because you know how I am about this thread), but if you remember to add John into your prayers tonight, it would be truly appreciated.

Thank you.

   and prayers for your daddy, and you, too, sistah.

Walt's mom lives in Iowa, LA , brother in Kingrey LA and nieces in Lafayette, LA. Prayers for everyone in LA today. Diane

I know where Iowa is, and of course Lafayette (best restaurants in Louisiana). Keeping our fingers crossed for them. They should just have rain and wind, hopefully no flooding. Same for my and Rob's families, too, I think.

Have some minutes to use up on my internet package so I thought I'd check in.

4 PM's to read and I'll read back a bit - maybe. :rotfl2:

Cruise is coming to an end. Can't believe it has been over 2 weeks already and this is the 18th night of our vacation.

Suz doesn't know, but I've booked the 4 night Wonder cruise on 10/18/09. It is the one right before the BOB. Not sure if I'm keeping it or not, but at 1/2 deposit for my dummy date, I figured why not book that as well.

Chris is sailing on that and I figured it would get us 11 nights instead of 7. Also will get us back on the Wonder.

Just have to see if I will be able to swing being off 2 weeks again from work. I will have to see what disasters happened while I was gone on this trip.

Also comes down to finances. The two combined will cost be about $4,500, plus all the "extras" (not looking forward to tomorrow morning when the bill comes :scared1: ).

Hi, Jeff. It seems like y'all just left. We can't wait to see pics! Sounds like it was a trip of a lifetime!

Not sure if Suz' pic count is correct, but if it is, we have about 2,500 pictures from this cruise.

And yes, it does feel like we just left. Suz said today, "remember how we said the WB Repo went so fast, so did this".

The first week wasn't as quick, but once we got through the canal, it went quick.

Ports we'd go back to for a week would be Cabo and Aruba.

Cartagena was really cool and I wished we had more time to tour it. We'd go back again if on a cruise ship, but wouldn't stay there.

We have tons of pictures. I'll try to get them uploaded this week. Maybe I'll do it by days. :thumbsup2

Well, the internet package is running out, so I will talk to y'all when we get home.

Bye.

I went ahead and made our countdown. Nothing fancy, but I bought some bulk stickers at our local Hallmark store and cut up the stickers and taped them underneath each mickey head number. Each day, Amelia will be able to take a sticker out and decorate the castle.
Again, nothing fancy but she got a kick out of it!

That's a petty cool idea. :cool2:

Beth and I will have to remember that next summer when we get within striking distance of this cruise. The kids love countdowns. :thumbsup2

Matthew

Actually... I was thinking "How many stickers do I need to buy to start now!? (Answer: 419! )

Looks like I still have 9 minutes. Might as well spend it on the DIS.

Darn Channel 12 is not giving us the map or report from the bridge, just FL East Coast info.

I wanted to get a picture of the "map" along with one of the total distance we traveled (we're going over 5,000 nautical miles due to the reroute).

Map is back on and I'm out of time.

Guess I'll get my pictures and call it a night.

Bye for good this time.

Have a magical mystery cruise Verandy and Hazel!

And from us Andy and Hazel..I know you're gonna have fun with Becky. Give her a hug from me. It's gonna be a weepy time tomorrow, when we have to say goodbye.

Hello! - I'm up early. Been up since 6am. I dont sleep too good. Neil and Ellis are still snoring:rolleyes:

Ok, time to sort out my bouncing pumpkin - this should be fun:rolleyes1

Has everyone had the email now? - if not let me know and I'll send it to you:goodvibes

Ok, why am I just getting a white box with a red cross?:confused3

I knew I was in for trouble - that darned pumpkin caused me grief last year too:lmao:

He refused to bounce last year...this year he refuses to even appear:eek:

Cass or any other expert:flower3: - can you fix him for me?

I know there is so much info there sometimes I don't know where to start. I'll definitely have to check out the boards on TGM, especially the ones from last Christmas time. I read a lot of the Christmas trip reports here on the DIS last year as people were returning too.!
Add yourself to the December Vacation Club and take it from there. There is a thread on that club forum that has quick links to many TRs from last December.

All I did was click and drag through it, clicked the CTRL-C to copy it and then paste it in my signature. That worked just fine. :)
