Just thought I would share this awesome jordak design. I gave him the idea of incorporating Nikon and the disboards and this what he came up with. I can't wait to hang this on my cabin door in Oct.

That is awesome. They all do some really great work. I love visiting that thread and after our May trip will be over there looking for stuff for our B2B.

Ahoy Mates,
I would like to organize a Stateroom Tour on Sunday Oct. 24th (our 1st day at sea) at around 10:30 a.m. This was done on last year's September cruise, and was very successful. Yes, we were lucky enough to tour the Roy O. Disney Suite.

Ahoy Paul...
Wonderful idea!!! Thank you for taking the lead on this.

Hello! Does anyone have any recommendations on where to purchase a FE exchange with pockets? Thanks, Jackieh95

You might check the search function on the main DIS boards. Someone has posted instructions on how to make one. Also, search for recomendations on who you can contact to make one - for you. The second...is more my speed. Ebay is another option.

WOW!!! That's cool!!!

Dave...I saw the photos you posted on our Yahoo site...AWESOME!! You have a gift AND a great looking family. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Thanks Sandy!! I can't believe the talent we have here on these boards. Now if I had just a 1/4 of the talent these people have I could really do something with all my pics....

We bit the bullet and bought airfare this week! We have to go now...:lmao: It is always more expensive to fly from here because Delta has a monopoly on the air industry. But we ended up booking AirTran there and Delta on the return. I think our total was $250.

We also reserved the car rental for Friday-Saturday morning. Now we just need to book the car service for the round-trip from MCO to BCV. We'll pick up the car at the airport Friday afternoon after our stay at BCV and head to the port!

It's nice to have the rental so we can stop for adult beverages and get a nice dinner out Friday night. It's starting to feel more real all the time!

What are everyone's plans for pre-cruise activities? What are you doing for transportation?

Could you add us to the list??
Here are our names & ages at the time of departure:

Congrats on getting airfare...good for you. I've been watching and almost 'pulled the trigger' today. Will prob wait till Southwest Air opens their bookings through Nov 5th which is ~2 weeks from today.

I've never used DCL transportation, so I'm not the best to comment on this. Getting to/from port on a DCL's bus must be fun. But, I agree with you...having a rental car is a great option. Getting to/on the ship early and picking up some supplies works well for us, too.

I just realized that I forgot to say thank you!! Thank you!!!

I agree I love all the designs over there but the camera one from jordak really blew me away. I was not expecting that at all when I gave him the idea. I can't wait to walk around the ship and see what everybody else has. :goodvibes

We are doing the Magical Express from MCO to Saratoga Springs and the Disney shuttle to the port. I don't want to touch my luggage this trip.:thumbsup2

My goal this year is to be able to tour all the different staterooms. If you are interested in "opening" your stateroom for a tour, please PM with your stateroom number, the type of stateroom you have, and the location (bow, mid-ship, stern, port or starboard) If you just want to do the tour, I probably would just need your Dis boards name and the number of people taking the tour.

Ok, here's what I need: The three Inside Staterooms: Standard, Deluxe, and the Sideways (yes, there is such a thing), an Oceanview Stateroom (one with a porthole), the Navigator's Veranda, a standard stateroom with a veranda, the Family Stateroom with Veranda, a stateroom with adjoining rooms, and of course the suites.

Have a Magical day, Paul (Paul2003)
we are in a cat 4 SR 8524 with veranda - if you still need one of those...

Welcome to our meet and to the DIS. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have if you are new to Disney cruising. Looking forward to getting to know you before we cruise. Lois

Wishing all a happy Monday - hope you had a great weekend.

Not too much to say...just a little bump to get us on the first page.

The DD's are off on Spring Break this week. I had some vacation to burn - so...I thought I'd join them. The girls are going to the movies and I'll be meeting up with my brother and going to a Spring training baseball game.

Will pop on a little later...

Hi, Kevin. The same to you. Hope your weekend was pleasant as well.

It's good that you can take some time off to be with your DDs. I wish I could go to a Spring Training game. How nice to live right there. But, I guess I have to wait until the regular season begins. We have I believe 9 Dodger games that will have planned for the year.

Hope you have a great day!

We are still waiting for SW to release rates from St. Louis to Orlando - The only other airline that flies direct to Orlando from St. Louis is AirTran. My only issue with AirTran in St. Louis is they change the schedules ALL the time and with us trying to minimize the amount of time our daughter is out of school we are leaning towards more SW.

We are staying at AKV Thursday and Friday night before the cruise. We are renting a car when we arrive and actually keeping it at the port for the week. The price to rent a car and return/pick up at the port was pretty much the same as just keeping it and returning it to Orlando.

We are staying the night we disembark at Disney AKV as well and finally returning home Sunday, October 31st.

Great afternoon. A day in the sun with my Brother watching baseball. A few hot dogs and beers....just add to the fun. Here's a photo I titled - "Don't dig in".

We had some very nice seats. I kept walking down between innings to take photos from just behind the dugout. A group that had seats on the front row left in the 5th inning. On of them as they were leaving...handed me a couple of tickets...said I could take photos from their seats. Who am I to say no.

Had a great time

That all sounds great...i just booked our precruise-night at the 'airport Hyatt' for Friday night....i'll be at WDW from Wed 10/20 (my BD) till Friday nt with Chel & Rus, then my DD, Dsis & Dniece arrive friday night. We will drive to the port early sat....drop the car and then i think we'll book DCL back to the airport on the 30th....

I have my airfare, but my family from Iowa is waiting till Allegiant opens up oct fares, and my DD hasn't booked yet either - sure she will soon

got some great deals on my airfare, hotel & car....$10 AF (miles) and free room at Hyatt and free car (Hyatt points)!!!!:yay::woohoo::banana:
