Thanks, Kevin for helping Anjelica out. As a matter of fact, I would not have been able to add her from work. Can't access yahoo mail from here. Hey everybody we received a package from DCL yesterday. It says that our stateroom is GTY. I hear that is a good thing. Based on your experience what do you think our chances are at getting an upgrade?

Am not sure anyone has 'cracked the code' for the 'upgrade fairy'. All that I've read is that it appears to be completely random. There is no rhyme, reason on when or who she chooses to sprinkle her pixie dust on - sure wish you the best.

With the ship being full...and for soooo long...that would limit upgrades (IMHO). I'm not saying they won't happen...assume the chances would be reduced. I've read numerous posts on these boards that *it's assumed* DCL will upgrade cruisers from the lower categories a level or two up...to keep the cat 12 & 11 open for new bookings. This option make the most logical sense to me.

Seeing that you don't have a room number - yet...is a good thing. Still keeps hopes open for a visit by the upgrade fairy. Good luck!!!

You might go to the Disney Cruise main page to review your reservation from time to time. Even after you get your cabin assignment...I've heard persons have went to port and received notification of an upgrade while they checked in.

I would like to organize a Stateroom Tour on Sunday Oct. 24th (our 1st day at sea) at around 10:30 a.m. This was done on last year's September cruise, and was very successful. Yes, we were lucky enough to tour the Roy O. Disney Suite.

My goal this year is to be able to tour all the different staterooms. If you are interested in "opening" your stateroom for a tour, please PM with your stateroom number, the type of stateroom you have, and the location (bow, mid-ship, stern, port or starboard) If you just want to do the tour, I probably would just need your Dis boards name and the number of people taking the tour.

Ok, here's what I need: The three Inside Staterooms: Standard, Deluxe, and the Sideways (yes, there is such a thing), an Oceanview Stateroom (one with a porthole), the Navigator's Veranda, a standard stateroom with a veranda, the Family Stateroom with Veranda, a stateroom with adjoining rooms, and of course the suites.
