10/22/11 Parley!! Will this get me on the ship any faster?

My husband and I will be on this cruise too. We are celebrating 10 years and have 3 nights at BLT and then 2 at Vero. This is my 5 Disney cruise and 35 cruise. We live in Florida..

wow 35 cruises!! That's CRAZY... in a very good kinda way My hubby and I are also celebrating an anniversary... our 11th on the 21st. We are doing 4 nights at AKV then going to the Radisson on the Friday night. Jump right in we have a fun group here

Almost there. It starts at the very end of the month. Just about finished packing. Just playing the waiting game now...

Hope the hotel shuttle isn't really late, like it was the last time we took it to the terminal. Been debating on taking a cab to the port the morning of embarkment, but not really sure I even want to work that hard to be in the first wave of cruisers... would rather just take it easy.

DW Vicky neglected to mention that I was on one more cruise that her... it was that 13 month, working cruise, that I took back in 1967 and 1968... to the sunny shores of Viet Nam and additional stops in Japan and The Luzon. Yes.. I am an old salt Navy man... and an old hippy

Hi Everyone!

My DH Bryan , DD Diana (age 11) and myself (Jo Ann) will be joining you all on this cruise. This will be the 6th cruise for my husband and I but it will be our first Disney Cruise. It will be Diana's second but she doesn't remember anything about her first as she was only 6 months old at the time. We are traveling with my Sister-in-law, Brother-in-law and nephew and it will be their first cruise ever.

Welcome aboard! In our party is Myself Ben DW Miranda DD 14 Mackenzie, DS 11 Brayden DS 5 Tanner and my daughter's DT (Darling Teamate) 16 Kia. We also will be taking care of my parents mornfar during the cruise.
This is our second Disney cruise. It will probably get addicting.

Hi again! Sorry, I've been absent for awhile...stuff at the office has been keeping me too busy to think about our trip! I posted this question awhile back in the DCL general forum, but thought it might be more appropriate to post here...DBF Sean found some posting online about "Haunted Parties" onboard the Magic during October. Anyone know anything about this and if we might encounter it on our trip? The most recent info I could find about it was a few years old...also, I know we aren't cruising over ACTUAL Halloween, but close to it....?

I found a navigator from last year in someone's PTR (...I'll try to find it again to repost!), and it outlined the details, plus OP had tons of photos! DBF is pumped because they did an adult costume contest, and one of the prizes was for "Best Disney" costume...so he is planning on going all out! ...Not sure how we would pack costumes plus everything else, but we'll figure it out I guess!

I'm not sure if it's safe to mention two costumes for this cruise..... I always get in trouble for packing too much anyway and then usually end up buying a second bag.... Opps my secret is out.

We were on the Magic last year from 10/16-23 and they didn't do anything special for Halloween. However, this cruise is the week before, so I hope they'll do something special.
