Sorry I've been playing hooky from this board I was too busy doing the DOC DANCE for my West Coast Repo cruise! Hellooooooooooooooo Wonder!

We are ready to board. This is our second cruise, we booked before we got off the Wonder on our first cruise.

JV, I only say that because by the time we get to cruise again, the Fantasy will take the Magic's place in Florida and I'm assuming the Magic may be in Europe or maybe even on the west coast for good then.

However, if the Magic heads to New York like rumors are telling us, I might just give that a try. I've never been to New York (unless you count the drive through the tip of it coming home from Ontario once) so it would be fun to do that too.

New York? Did I hear you say New York? That would be FABULOUS! I volunteer to be your tour guide!

My DH Bryan , DD Diana (age 11) and myself (Jo Ann) will be joining you all on this cruise. This will be the 6th cruise for my husband and I but it will be our first Disney Cruise. It will be Diana's second but she doesn't remember anything about her first as she was only 6 months old at the time. We are traveling with my Sister-in-law, Brother-in-law and nephew and it will be their first cruise ever.

Welcome Jo Ann and family! I'm Char traveling with my DH Nate and our DS's- Evan 14, Luke 7 and Gabe 5. We are also going with family, my sister (Tink&Grumpy) and her fam as well as my parents and my Aunt's family... 18 in total!! We did our first Disney cruise last Jan and we couldn't stop talking about how great it was that my family decided to join us on this one, none of them have ever cruised before either.

I am Joh, travelling with my DH, Gary, my DD Rhiannon, 17, and my DS, Daniel, 8.

We will have some others with us too, whom we met through the DIS, but have become fast friends with. Natalie, my best friend, and her DD Ellie, 13, and DS Matthew, 10. And another couple, Tony and Theresa. It will be T&T's first Disney cruise although we have sailed on a couple of NCL mini cruises together.

My DD was very excited to see another 17-year old on the thread. She is at work right now but I am sure she will come along and say 'Hi' later.

Anyway, how is everyone. What have I missed? I am well aware I have been MIA fromt his thread for a while again I have been keeping up with the FB group though

29 weeks from today we will be at the airport, waiting for our flight to Orlando. We managed to score a 2-bed and studio at Villas at Wilderness Lodge for the week before the cruise. Although we would have preferred to stay at Beach Club Villas, I am happy enough as VWL is our favourite DVC property at WDW. I am getting pretty excited and have been reading loads of cruise reports to get an idea of what excursions we want to do and what activities are on board. Loving the sound of Martini tasting Has anyone else got any firm plans/excursions in mind?

Hey Joh, I think you'll be seeing us at the Martini tasting Not to sure about excursions this time around. I think it'll be a lot of beach days with the little ones. Although my dad did some hurricane relief back in 1997 though our church in St Thomas and wants to check out the church he worked on and the house they stayed at. He says it was within walking distance from where the ships dock. For those of you that have gone to St Thomas would you say it would be safe to wander around on your own??

I've been to St. Thomas a couple of times and found it to be a pretty safe port. I've never been afraid to walk around, but we usually stick to the touristy areas.

Thanks We have been on the Magic on the 14 day cruise to Barcelona and then did a 3 day on the Wonder after a family vacation at WDW and now we are really looking forward to this trip. we did another cruise (a long time ago ) to an Alaskan inland cruise. We are glad to be joining all of you....

DW Vicky neglected to mention that I was on one more cruise that her... it was that 13 month, working cruise, that I took back in 1967 and 1968... to the sunny shores of Viet Nam and additional stops in Japan and The Luzon. Yes.. I am an old salt Navy man... and an old hippy

My husband and I will be on this cruise too. We are celebrating 10 years and have 3 nights at BLT and then 2 at Vero. This is my 5 Disney cruise and 35 cruise. We live in Florida..
