1 year anniversary, 8 days and too much food......June 2011...11/14 Last Day!

After I had plenty of time to get a good spot for "Magic the memories and you" and "Wishes". I wanted to make sure I saw it just in case DH was sick still later in the week or if it rain.

I love both of these shows. they make me super happy. Especially Wishes. :lovestruc So before I left I used my last fastpass on Space. Then walked through the shops. I purchased a cute Eyeore stuffed animal and then a balloon.
IMG_0574.jpg

I had wanted one since the first time we came!

With toys in hand I headed back to our room after a long day and night!

We love Citricos, too...one of my favorites. We didn't try the chocolate dessert you had, but it looks wonderful!!!!

Great pictures once again!

Heather

Oh yeah definitely have to try Citricos. The Seared Tofu on the menu sounds delicious!

When I originally heard about the Magic, the Memories, and You show I thought it sounded kinda lame. Then I saw it! How amazing! Seriously, how do they get the images to wrap around the castle like that? I was in love!

It is very good I had it last time we were there on our honeymoon. YUM.

Yeah...I was def anti that show at first....I'm usually against anything that changes the castle. But It really is an amazing show. SO good. Talking about it makes me just want to watch it again!

Day 3 Part 1

So the next morning we got up at around 7am because we had an ADR that I was very excited for! DH was still feeling sick but after a long sleep he felt a little better.

This was our new friend I bought the night before
IMG_0575.jpg

So cute!

So we headed down to the boardwalk for our ADR at Kouzzina! I was looking forward to eating hear since we started planning. I LOVE breakfast.

We checked in to an almost empty restaurant and this was the first and only restaurant that knew I was a vegetarian! Which I thought was weird. haha. We were seated pretty much immediately and met our waiter. Who was one of the nicest of the trip! You could tell he really loved his job and loved food.

I ordered a coffee and DH got an OJ.

When it was time to order our waiter came by and mentioned my dietary request. He said they could make anything I wanted and asked if I was leaning towards another particular. I was thinking about the Spinach, Tomato, and Feta Scrambled Eggs which he highly recommended so I went with that. He also said he could a special batch of sweet potato hashbrown that were safe for me.

IMG_0578.jpg

UM.....amazing? Seriously....I crave this....too bad its so far away from where I live.
Here are my extra hashbrowns because they had to make a whole batch just for me!
IMG_0579.jpg

DH got the first Omelet he has ever had! :laughing:Ham and Cheese Omelet - Served with Breakfast Potatoes
IMG_0580.jpg

He liked the food but....found out he isn't huge on omelets! oops. Guess its a good time to find out. He ate all the potatoes tho.
IMG_0581.jpg

Over all this was a great way to start our day. The food and atmosphere are really great. It was much quieter then a lot of the other restaurants that serve breakfast. I would very much like to go back to try dinner sometime!

After breakfast we walked along the boardwalk on our way to International Gateway.

I love how close Epcot is! We really never got over how awesome this was. Also the lines were never long! It was so great.

It was still really early so World Showcase was still closed. It was really nice to walk around a deserted park.

Hehehe

Our first stop was
IMG_0606.jpg

DH is afraid of heights so soaring isn't his favorite but we decided we wanted to try one last time and see if he liked it. so we got on the crazy line for fastpasses.

After we hopped right now Living with the Land! No wait at all.

IMG_0610.jpg

We did the roller coaster. With lots of flips! here's the link

Me and DH agree. This is a hidden gem. If you have never tried it you really should. So basically you build your ride using this cool touch screen and tools. Then you get to ride it. Try it. Its in Innoventions West.

Next up was Spaceship Earth.

Welcome hun! I know its crazy. You will see how quick the first year goes.

Thanks, We loved it there.

Day 3 Part 2

So after our shopping spree....it was time for world showcase to open!
DSC_0635.jpg

IMG_0632.jpg

We decided to start at Canada because on our honeymoon we started with Mexico.
DSC_0638.jpg

We never really explored Canada before....so we took our time walking around and enjoying it.

But sticking with our goal...we needed to see O' Canada! because we had never seen it.
IMG_0636.jpg

This is a very fun and silly film....Which I'm glad we saw it finally because we have plans to go to Toronto soon and then our first Cruise goes to Canada! So it was appropriate to see the film.

After the film we strolled over to England to grab some beer! Never too early in World Showcase to have a drink.
DSC_0662.jpg

IMG_0645.jpg

Strongbow for me and Stella for DH! YUM.

We planned to walk around later in England so we grabbed our beers and headed over to France.
DSC_0659.jpg

IMG_0649.jpg

I had a certain cat that I was waiting for. We hung around until it was time. We were the first in line!
DSC_0664.jpg

DSC_0667.jpg

She actually purred at me and groomed my face!

DSC_0669.jpg

we had a date with Remi later in the week.

We stopped in Germany to get a photo with Snow White in her home country
DSC_0679.jpg

Then we kind of skooted through because we had a Kim Possible Fastpass.
IMG_0652.jpg

IMG_0653.jpg

So we had wanted to play Kim Possible since our honeymoon and never found a chance. We loved it! So much fun. Its def not just for kids. We really enjoyed it. We did our first adventure in Norway because that was where our fastpass was for so we stuck with it. Try it if you haven't yet.

So.....it was around 2pm when we finished our adventure..and DH's sickness caught up with him. So we walked back to the resort.
DSC_0681.jpg

Before we left we found this guy! So cute.

We grabbed a snack from the Boardwalk Bakery before heading up
IMG_0665.jpg

I got a orange zest cupcake. DH got a oreo cupcake...but fell asleep before he ate his and I didn't get a photo! I sat on our balcony and ate mine.

Then because DH didn't look like he was going to get up anytime soon. so I went down to the quiet pool for a swim and then took a nap in the sun. This was really nice because I never get to do that at home. After I woke up I headed back to see how DH was doing.

We got dressed for dinner and headed back to Epcot. We wandered around and took some photos.
DSC_0687.jpg

DSC_0690.jpg

We headed over to Japan because that's our favorite pavilion and we didn't have a chance to go to it yet.
DSC_0697.jpg

A nice lady offered to take our photo
DSC_0702.jpg

DSC_0706.jpg

we then headed into the little museum to check out the new exhibit.
DSC_0709.jpg

DSC_0712.jpg

DSC_0715.jpg

Then we entered the shop where we knew we would spend money! and DH loaded up on Domo merch. While I surprisingly spent nothing.

Subbing! I'm so glad I found your TR, your photos are beautiful. I'm looking forward to more!

Souvenir mugs and tasty beer - two treats in one :thumbsup2

Love the pic of you and hubby in Japan :lovestruc My sons and I loved walking around the shops there and seeing all the fun stuff in the museum (I would have bought out the whole shop if I had had enough money! :rotfl2:) Hope your hubby felt better after his nap and that you get to enjoy your dinner!

haha! yup!

Aww thanks. We really enjoy Japan. its so pretty. I usually spend a lot of money there too. I guess I was being good this trip.

I know! I'm sorry about the delay again. I have been working on my blog and some crafts. No excuse. Still missing WDW tho!

Day 3 Part 3

So our dinner ADR for that night was Le Cellier! We were so excited for this meal! I have heard so many good things and I was worried we wouldn't get an ADR....but we had no problem.

We checked in at the entrance and then walked down the garden.
DSC_0723.jpg

While we were taking this photo a CM came out and was waiting for us!

We were seated in the Saskatewan section. I really liked that they had different names for each section.
IMG_0668.jpg

DH was def being a trooper! I don't think he was feeling much better.

Our server came by and was super nice and knowledgeable. She was also very laid back and gave us plenty of time to talk and enjoy ourselves.

Because DH wasn't quite up to par so he didn't drink but I got a Canadian Cider
IMG_0671.jpg

I love Cider so I jump at the chance to try new ones! This was very good. Very different from the English, Irish or American versions.

Then we were brought bread sticks
IMG_0674.jpg

see those pretzel ones? They were amazing. In fact all over the restaurant you could see servers bringing extra pretzel bread. (we asked for some too!)
IMG_0675.jpg

This was a maple butter...though truthfully the bread was so good....it didn't need anything.

So for our app I really wanted to try the famous cheddar cheese soup...but I was sad to find out that the bacon is not only on top but its cooked in. :sad2:

So instead I had Grilled Jumbo Asparagus - Gratinee with sauce Hollandaise, Canadian Cheddar
IMG_0676.jpg

Okay...so I love Asparagus and Hollandaise sauce...so I might be biased but YUM. It was so good...I close to licked the plate :rotfl:

DH got Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage - Served with creamy polenta and sweet onion jam
IMG_0677.jpg

DH liked this. it was different...and something new to try. He wouldn't go for it again but this whole trip is about new things!

for our main I got Warm Spring Vegetable, Mushroom and Goat Cheese Quiche - With salad of Arugula, Frisee, roasted peppers, portobella mushrooms and Sherry vinaigrette
IMG_0678.jpg

Okay so...I don't actually think this is what I ended up with (you can see that the description doesn't match the photo) It was a Quiche of some sort. but it didn't have many veggies in it and def no Goat Cheese or Roasted peppers. So I'm not sure why I got something different. It was okay. Kind of bland.

DH got Grilled Bone in Rib Eye - 16 oz. bone in Rib Eye with Herb Parmesan Potato wedges and pink peppercorn sauce

IMG_0679.jpg

Well...first off DH says this wasn't a Rib Eye.....and second he really didn't like the sauce. but without it....it was really dry. So for a steak house DH was not impressed. This was a disappointment.

For dessert I got a lemon cheesecake
IMG_0680.jpg

lemon.....yum....cheesecake...yum. it would have been hard to disappoint me with this one. YUM

DH got the chocolate trio
IMG_0681.jpg

one of these had nuts so he got two of the other! DH is easy....so of course he loved this!

So....I thought the food was good..the apps and desserts were the best part. Not sure what happened with the entrees. Whoever makes Apps and desserts should take over for the person who makes the entrees.

As we were leaving our waiter came running over with these
IMG_0688.jpg

haha guess thats all they had! super sweet tho. We did get weird looks from CMs and asked why we didn't have Anniversary buttons....and then when told another CM gave them to us....more confused looks. I thought they were fun :confused3

So after dinner it was extra magic hours that night...so our first must do was
DSC_0727.jpg

I wanted to see this so badly and it did not disappoint. We loved it! We even both got T-shirts after. DH with the classic logo (same as above) and me the T-shirt Michael Jackson wears in the movie.

I was also tempted to get a stuffed animal of Hooter....but I controlled myself.

DSC_0729.jpg

Then of course while we were in the area we had to ride Figment!
DSC_0738.jpg

DSC_0746.jpg

Then we headed over to hang with some fishies!!
DSC_0749.jpg

IMG_0691.jpg

We also did Turtle Talk...which I really was excited to see because DH always makes me skip it. I thought it was really cute and I liked it better then Laugh Floor.

We walked around to see some of the other fish.
IMG_0693.jpg

We saw the Manatees but the Dolphins must be in the back stage home for the night because we didn't get to see them.

Last up for the night was...
DSC_0751.jpg

We now always do Green because DH isn't big on the Orange. I still think its fun. We did however stay in the video room for 20 mins until they told us there was something wrong and we were moved. DH was afraid that they would accidentally put us on orange. Which didn't happen.

We walked around a little
DSC_0753.jpg

said hi to the ball...

I'm pretty sure we ended up in a shop again...because....DH told me a little secret that Duffy was growing on him....so we MIGHT have picked one up...

DSC_0761.jpg

The moon was really pretty in Canada! I grabbed a lemon slushie before we left (yum)

IMG_0694.jpg

and here is Duffy....super excited to be on a boat!
