1 ressie or 3?

I'm about to book 3 studios at SSR for next June using our DVC points. One room will be DH and myself. One room will be DD#1 and her adult son. One room will be DD#2, her hubby and daughter. Should I book them all on my reservation or book each room as a separate ressie?

Another question....the son-inlaw just had major surgery and may require more. In the event I have to cancel their room how far in advance do I need to cancel in order to get those points returned to my account for use the following year? My use year is August.

Each room must be a separate reservation.

For August UY, you must cancel a reservation and bank points no later than March 31, in order to use them in a subsequent UY.
