Question:

We would like to go snorkelling as a family during our next trip (April 05) and had considered Crystal River. This was because we would like to combine travelling to Busch Gardens and the snorkelling in one with an overnight stay. Our kids will be 5 & 9. Is there anywhere that is warm, clean & safe (& preferably near the west coast) that you can recommend for us to do this?

Request:

Is anyone going to visit the Kennedy Space Centre in the near future? If you are would you be prepared to pick up a STS-84 Mission Patch from the gift shop for me (I can show you a picture so you know which one & they are labelled)? If you wouldn't mind doing this for me please get in touch. I will gladly pay up front for your trouble.

Update: An offer has been made to obtain the patch this October. Watch this space...

I read lots of posts about the manatee swims at Crystal River, but I think we may be too late to see them by mid April. I thought maybe one or two people might have been snorkelling before.........perhaps not!
