Borrow is your only option unless you can find someone willing to transfer one point (or unless you want to take a larger transfer-usually people doing transfers are looking to move a large # of points)

A transfer, cash night (DVC or CRO), separate rental, or look for ways to do it for less points are the ones that come to mind.

I don't know anything about transferring points, but my contract came with 2 points I can't use (banked from 2016). BLT Feb UY. Happy to help if it works for you.

That is a very generous offer but unfortunately, only current pts can be transferred, not banked or borrowed pts.

That makes sense. I just bought this contract resale. Would MS have any record that they were banked (and I am just assuming they were because all of the 2017 points were available)? They show available for my current UY.

They are available for your current UY but yes, they are marked as banked from the prior year.
