No, you don't need to put down a deposit for Chef Mickey's, only if you are doing a dinner show, like Fantasmic Dinner pkg or the Hoop-Dee-Doo or Mickey's Backyard Barbeque.

Also a deposit is required for any of the princess meals, since they had too many people canceling. We had PS for the Norway lunch though on the first day it started in April, and when we got there the food sounded SO unappealing and we knew 3 year old DD wouldn't eat most of it, so they did let us cancel at the desk.
