I tried to search for the answer to this, but wasn't successful! I've just booked 2 RPR rooms at the Entertainment rate for November (week of Thanksgiving). I am going to order the book (only $10!), but am not sure if I need one or two. Will one book have two coupons I can use? If I do need two books, would it be better to order one Orlando version and one local version? Thanks for any info!

The entertainment books that are out now are only valid until the first week or so of november. You need to wait until the new books become available before purchasing.

The books take between 7 to 10 days to arrive. So be on the lookout for when the new books will be available.

You will need one entertainment per room reservation. So plan on purchasing two books. I would suggest getting at least one orlando book or kissimee( for give the spelling).

Thanks for the info! I had assumed the current books would be good for the rest of the year, so I'm glad to know I need to wait. Do you know whether the Orlando or Kissimee book would have more Universal or Sea World related discounts?
Thanks!

As far a coupons for universal there are only a couple. One is for a discount on a multi day ticket. But what is most important is getting the entertainment rate for the on sites hotels. But there might be some coupons or discounts for hotel restaurants in the orlando book.

Honestly, I did not use the coupons in the books very much. The few coupons I did use we for the mcdonalds on sandlake near universal. Very cool by the way. There were also discount coupons for different car rental companies. The book has half price hotels listed in the back. All of the ones I have stayed with, out of this book have been at the least to say" ok" not fabulous or anything but do-able.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll be better off getting 1 Orlando book and 1 local book then. I am hoping of course that all the books contain the hotel coupons! This would only make sense, as people usually stay at hotels far away from home. Now I just have to wait til the new books are offered.

It's not a coupon that you will use. It is a card that comes with the book. So yes, each book will come with it's own card.

Have fun!

I was looking into getting the entertainment book specifically to get the discounted rate on HIFS this summer....but when I tried the "on-line" version of the book the rates that came up were $114.....

how can i tell if I will get the discount IF I order the Book?

If you want to stay an holiday inn with entertainment rate go to this website www.priorityclub.com this is holiday inn corporate website you can book with entertainment rate on there website rates thru may 05 they are already available to book on line. The rate I got for the holiday inn on universal blvd for next year is 59.95 a night plus taxes. I would also recommend calling the hotel direct and ask them for the entertainment rate. And then ask them for their very best rate and see which is lower. and also sign up for the priority club while you are on line. It gives you early check in and check out if available on your dates. I have got check ins as early as 7am and check outs as late as 2 pm.

I hope this helps.
