$1 disney pins

Disney Auctions has some of their pins up for $1 starting bid. Might be worth checking out.

A good deal, yes...,
however...

I purchased most of these pins
at FULL PRICE to trade or keep...
what does this sale do for the trade
value OR collection value when
you go to think about things...

It is just like when CM's get
cheap stuff... those items no longer
have that trade value for those
that bought it at full price!
OR some people want more
considering when they aquired
their pins... or they try to swindle
you saying they never knew about
a sale!

I just hate it! I'd rather they put
them on CM lanyards if they want
to get rid of them... atleast they
hold their value better that way!

A couple dollars off I can see, but
25% of the price is extreme...
(I realize there is still time to go,
and I can be out bid... but still!)

Now that I know they are doing this,
I don't feel I want to buy any more
DA items at all because I will feel
jipped again later if the prices plummet!

My guess is many of these will raise to near or above the original set price. Of course some won't. But it will be interesting to see what happens.
Most likely we will all be outbidding each other anyway!

I would agree. These pins will still trade at or above there original cost. But those that are just starting out in this can get some nice pins to have to trade.
