$1 Disney Items at Michaels Craft Store in MI

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to post. If not, mods, please move.

This may have posted before too, so if a duplicate, sorry.

I was at Michael's craft store today in Metro Detroit area and surprised to see some Disney Princesses and Tinkerbell items for only $1 in the bins in the center of the store. They had small notebooks, memo pads, a 4 pack of pens with caps that had a string on them, a mini "back to school" kit, and a pencil case. Everything was marked $1.

I have read that its cheaper to buy goodies and treats for the kids before you go on your trip.

I don't have any kids yet, but thought I'd share this find. Hope it helps some parents out there save some money.

they have similar items right now at the Dollar Tree and Mickey/Minnie finger paints at Christmas tree shops.

I generally get things like this...and then give them to the kids while in Disney... it makes them excited...and me knowing I saved a bunch!! LOL

My Local 99 cent only store has a whole wall just dedicated to Disney. I picked out a bunch of items, and am going to make a basket when we get to the hotel. Then when my nephews arrive at the hotel, I am going to have the front desk call the room and ask to speak to them. I am going to have the front desk clerk explain that Mickey had left them something , and they need to come down to pick it up.

DrDisney I like that idea! I too have found dollar Disney items at Michaels. I am going to keep going back as I've noticed the selection changes from time to time. We are going to be in WDW over Christmas and the youngest in our party LOVES Cars, sometimes they have Cars items too!

For those us that live in the booneys of Kansas and don't have these dollar tree and micheals stores would those of you be will to help us out with items or can you get stuff online from them. I went to the sites but did not find a place to actually shop for items.

I don't think Michaels does have a way to order from their site, I've been on it many times and have never been able to figure out a way to order from them. They don't always have stuff, but if I happen to see anything soon I will let you know!

THANK YOU. I THINK THE CLOSEST ONE TO ME IS ATLEAST 3 HOURS AWAY AND THAT IS NOT WORTH DRIVING FOR.
