No wonder I can't sleep. :confused3 What in the world am I doing up since 3 am?? Oh yeah, trying not to be overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I need to do before we leave at 4 am on Sunday morning. :rotfl2:

3~2~1 Yay you're getting close! Best of luck gettin' everything put together. Are you driving? If so I wish you all the best ~ that's something we've yet to do, someday we will I'm sure - I did drive up to Seattle last Oct. so I could drive so S. CA.

I hear ya! I'll be there 4 weeks from TODAY...Thanksgiving Day!!!...OUCH!!!...so far I booked the Holiday Tour for one day and Fantasmic! for the other day...plus I was dusted with some Pixie Dust and I will have passes for Early Morning Madness and Preffered Seating for Aladdin...so with all that in place I should have a great time despite the crowds over the Thanksgiving weekend...:yay:

We leave Monday morning at the crack of dawn. Our flight is at 7 am, so we have to be out the door by 5:30. Normally, this would horrify me, but we're going to Disneyland! We haven't been since 2005, so we're incredibly excited.

I sound just like you! LOL We are getting on the road early Sunday morning! It hasn't really sunk in to me yet that we really are going to Disneyland, because we have planned many times, even having to cancel reservations in April, and now, I have the tickets sitting on my desk, and it doesn't seem real. I have a list of things to get done, and I cannot find the thread of the best/must things to take ( like mole skin, the great lotion name for tired feet, etc).
I think I am hoping a Disneyland fairy will come and get everything ready for me so I can be just like the kids and DH; wake up and go! LOL:rotfl2: I hope to have my LGMHs made and put on my purse! Hope to see some LGMH there!

I would totally be up for a meet if anyone else is.

DH may have to go to San Diego to meet an uncle he didn't know he had until 3 months ago. If he does that - the kids and I will stay in Anaheim and go to DLR. We felt like he might need the time to get some family history info and the kids might be bored. :confused3

Thanks for all the good wishes. I will have my LGMH on the stroller and the camera strap - so look for me. I've only ever met one other Dis'er and that was at the hotel - not DL. LOL

Oh yeah, we are at HoJo if anyone else is. :thumbsup2

Thanks - we are driving. I think the drive is MUCH better than going to Seattle. We did that a couple of years ago during UEA. Awful, just awful.

Hope you have a fabulous trip!

Thanks!

We are leaving Sunday too! I am at work and just can't concentrate. My mind is on packing!

I'm not even anywhere but at home and I still can't concentrate, too much going on with Halloween and a sick-y 7 yr old and a DH who is also sick (both have sinus infections). My mind is on packing - but in the general panicked stage of "I hope I remember everything" and then I remember that I am not going to Outer Mongolia and can get anything I need - besides antibiotics - in Anaheim. :lmao:

I managed a summer trip this year - don't know if I would be up to Thanksgiving - ooooorrrrr it could be a good way to get out of any sticky family situations! :thumbsup2 Hope you have a great time!

Yay!! That is soooo exciting - how many days will you be there?? And we are leaving at 4 am Sun. morning and driving 10+ hours so we can see the last night of Halloween Fireworks. No Santa Ana Winds, PLEASE!!

Hopefully I will see some LGMH - I would love to meet up. The lotion name is Arnica cream (I think). Good luck with everything. It must be hard to believe it could be real after all the stuff that's happened for you in the past. I hope your trip is as magical as it can be!

I hope you have a great time. We leave in 2 weeks today. In fact, in two weeks we will have been on the plane for 2 hours. :tigger:

I'm already feeling edgy about packing, I've got 1 kid out of four packed. We're not telling the kids until the day we leave so I have to try to pack secretly.

We did a surprise trip this past May and it was HARD!! Hard not to talk about it and hard to get packed and not get found out. We had an early morning flight so we woke our kids up at 4 am and asked them if they wanted to go to DL, today. Our 7 yr old just looked at me and asked "you're not kidding me, are you???" It was a great moment. Good luck and I hope you have a great trip. :thumbsup2

We're leaving Sunday morning too. :cool1::cool1::cool1: We'll be at HOJOs also (1st thru 7th)! I have my LGMHs on my bag and if I have time today, I'll make a great big one for the stroller. So hoping to run into some other DIS-nuts like me!

Brady's Mom, do you know what building you are in?? We have a kids' suite booked, so we'll be in bldg 1. Today is my packing day. Have a laundry marathon going, working through the checklists, and wondering what on earth I myself am going to wear.

Tomorrow I have to work.....I am paying back the favor of my nice manager who covered me last Saturday when almost the entire family got wiped out with the flu. Tomorrow is gonna be a looooonnnnnnggggg day of anticipation!

Ohhhhh....sorry you have to work tomorrow. :( We are in bldg 2. We love bldg. 2  although I would love to give the kids suites a try. We couldn't get one for our trip - they were sold out. Maybe if we go next spring before our AP's expire we could try one. You'll have to let me know how they are.

I'm working through the checklists, too. Had to go to Hubby's work today for the annual trick or treating they do. The kids love it and his coworkers get to see them grow up. They have a facility at his work that also does soup every year and so we always go there and have lunch. Mmmmmm....warm soup in a bread bowl. :cloud9: Especially since it is cold and a little snow "flaky". Not really snow, but not rain, either. Just teeny tiny flakes.

Haven't started the laundry, yet. But, I did spend some time at the grocery store this morning and have to hit WalMart this afternoon. And sneak some laundry time in there, too.

Are you driving or flying? Hope you have a safe journey and maybe we can meet. I would love to meet some people that love Disney as much as my family!

We're driving from Reno. I want to leave EARLY, but I'm not sure DH is on board with that idea, so all I can say is we'll get there SOMETIME Sunday evening.

What time are you hitting the parks on Monday? I'm going to push to get everyone onto Main Street for rope drop at 10! Yeah....we'll see how that goes. :confused:rolleyes1

We are leaving for a surpise Birthday trip Wedneday morning. It has been sooooooooo hard to keep the secret!

Brady's mom, are you taking all four boys with you?

Nope, our oldest is in Taiwan until the end of April. Just the 3 younger boys. DS 21 isn't as big of a Disney fan as all the rest - so he doesn't even mind. :confused3

Why does it seem the closer you are to leaving the more things you keep adding to your list??

I mean, is it really critical that I mop the kitchen floor before I leave?
