I always advise to get tickets even for arrival and/or departure day, of course this depends on your flight or arrival times, but even if you get to orlando early afternoon you can hop to a park -- hit 3 FP rides and leave. Once you start adding park days on they get less expensive but you get the advantage of 3 extra FP for each day you add and that might make planning your full park days much easier. Just a thought. We don't have parks planned the day we arrive or the day we leave. I suppose they could be options. I am not a great traveler (nerves) so doing anything major on departure day stresses me out. I like to be places, I don't like to get places if that makes sense.![]()
We have a November trip planned but for only 4 nights. My plan is to get 5 days of tickets so that we can hit a park on arrival day (taking an early flight and arriving by 10am) and on our departure day we will hit a park and again on this end hoping for a really late flight 8 or 9pm so that we can hit a park for most of the day. a trip to WDW isn't like most vacations -- there is so much to do and see that you really have to maximize your time there to get a lot done.
and chill at AKV/L. However it might be worth going to AK if we could get a FP for FoP. I hear its really difficult on the first day of your trip.
We are planning on staying until close on our AK day. We have an ADR for Tusker House at 10:35 am that day and as of now AK closes at 9 pm. I am thinking about bagging trying to get a FoP FP+, concentrating on 7DMT and Slinky Dog (for our other park days), and just riding FoP near park closing. Thoughts? I doubt we will arrive much before our ADR; AK's hours are 9a-9p.
This is good news. Thank you for sharing it. That would be ideal!
I've woken up twice in a panic thinking I missed FP+ morning. Pathetic.
We will take note.
