Hi - I'm doing a one day solo trip to DL on 3/24. I've been once before and I can't wait to go back! I only have a day so I'm trying to make the most of of it. I'm not doing a hopper this time and just focusing on DLP. I'm a ride junkie so I focus on the attractions more than the shows, parades, etc. I'll arrive around 9 and I believe the park opens at 8. Would you start in Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, or Adventureland/New Orleans Square?

Last time I went straight to FL and loved it. I got to do pretty much everything I wanted that day. But, I know that Indiana Jones and Space Mtn can get high wait times throughout the day so I thought about starting in one of those 2 areas first. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Start with a Hyperspace FP, then do FL if you want to. You can always do Indy single rider later. Check the app for wait times and FP return times. If you're in a cab or shuttle you can watch the FP return times as your approach and decide which one to get first.

I can't give you any advice, but I did a one-day solo trip to DL several years ago and I loved it. I'd never been to DL before, but DS had a summer internship playing with the Disney All-American Band, so I went to see him play. Had lots of fun on all the Fantasyland rides.

If it were me, I'd be there in time for the rope drop. Arriving at 9:00 makes much of Fantasyland a practical impossibility. PP lines will be 45 minutes. Alice will be much the same. Do yourself a favor and arrive at the gates around 7:10, if you can. Do FL first (PP, Alice, Mr. Toad, Snow White, Dumbo) and then head over to TL for a HSM Fast Pass. Afterwards, hit POTC. As you know, it just re-opened today. Those are my thoughts, for what they're worth.

Unfortunately, that's not an option for me. I'm in California for work so that's the earliest I can get there. But, thanks.

Given your arrival time limitation, if it were me, I'd grab a FP first (it doesn't matter for what, but your best bet to maximize FPs is to pull ones with return times not too far out, making sure that none of the ones you must ride, like HSM, run out on you), then ride PotC if the line isn't crazy, and then start on FL rides. Don't bother with PP or Alice, yet - their lines aren't going to get much longer at this point. Just make sure you're pulling FPs as soon as you can and you should be able to ride everything you want to.

Have a feeling the lines for PotC will be really long still at this point. Park is going to be busy enough as it is, and with the anniversary and just reopening everyone will want to be on it. Utilize SR for Indy and Splash, and get the fastpasses for the others. One perk of being solo is you get to do whatever you want all day long.
