I have been looking at the online tickets and noticed that the 1 day/1 park pass gives 4 days free with it.

Am I reading this correctly - you pay for 1 day and get 5 consecutive days? I know it's the same park and I seriously doubt we'd go there for 5 consecutive days but some might.

Can you upgrade to the 2nd park on the day if you wanted to?

I believe the current offer is buy 2 days get 3 free. It's an interchangeable ticket meaning, unlike Disney, you don't have to pay extra to park hop!

Yes I saw that offer too. The two day/2 park ticket is $99 and the one day/one park ticket is $59.

We really only have a day so the one day ticket is probably best. Just wondered why they were offering 4 free days as well - perhaps they don't feel you would want to spend 5 consecutive days in the same park.

Yeah, they seem to offer 5 days at either 1 park (59.75+tax) or 2 parks (99.95+tax)

The one park/get 5 days pass can be upgraded to include the other park but the upgrade value is only the vaslue of a one day/one park ticket. So if you want to upgrade to the 2nd park, you can for $10.65 but you lose your free days in the upgrade.

Thanks for the info - will have a think about the best this week. Do you think express passes would be helpful for next week?

What if you use four days, and the fifth day you decide you want to go to the second park, could you still upgrade it on your last day of the ticket?

You have to upgrade it the first day. The free days have no value. Your best buy is to get the 5 day/2 park special on the internet.

About next week: On April 8th-16th, it is supposed to be extremely busy.

As far as earlier in the week, I expect moderate crowds. I would wait until you got there and decide if you need express or not.

OK thanks.

We'll be there sometime between the 3rd to the 7th April so at least we'll avoid the very busy time.

Do the express passes sell out quickly?

You will know long before they sell out, if you need them. If it is super, super busy, they sell out by noon. They seldom sell out at all on moderate days.

Is this universal or sea world you are speaking of?
