I ordered the Cider sauced salmon and my husband and the Cider brined pork chop. For some reason, my husband always orders a pork chop if someone has it on the menu, so he's had them from various places. He thought it was one of the better he had. My salmon was, well, salmon, and it was done well and the sauce was great. Anyway, the bread pudding. It's definitely a different sort of bread pudding... extremely rich and filling and the sauces on the side are incredibly sweet. I lightly dip my bread into them. I can finish about half of it.
The comment about the grocery store quality desserts--I felt exactly the same way about everything on the Boma dessert buffet. All unimpressive, but so many people love it.
