In all honesty, it has made me a bit paranoid. I'm not little or old or crazy or on your lane, but my DH said, do you think she knows she's on the internet (little crazy old lady)? He said, what if she has relatives that are on the dis? I said I don't think so, and anyway, it's all so sweet. THEN after I cleaned the cars off I started "shovelling" snow with the squeegee thingy and stopped dead when I realized someone could video me with their phone and post it! Wacko neighbor! This will make me more careful about anyting I do in public so in a way it is a cautionary tale and therefore has even more merit.

LOL, we are only the photographers that are providing the show. The artist, aka 1 Crazy Lady, is the one that deserves all of the credit and the groupies!

To me, this thread is supposed to be about showcasing one of the tackiest yard decorators on the planet. Please don't go all paranoid on us!

I love to people watch, but it takes a lot for me to break out the camera.

DDD, don't get all paranoid. Pushing snow off your car with a squegee thingy ( which BTW I have too...I have an SUV and pushing it off witht he squegee thingy is way easier than any other way of cleaning the car) is pretty "noirmal" behavior.

Painting mannequins different colors and displaying them on your front yard is a bit out there.

OMG! I thought I'd see pics of a lady's yard who looks similar to my mom's neighbor's yard, but this is just so much crazier! I love it!

Maybe you guys could surprise her, and secretly start decorating her yard at night.... Although I don't think you could find better decorations than the ones she has!


I think you should send those pictures to Ellen for her show. She has those crazy Japanese products all the time, and wierd stuff people send her. I'm sure she'd show these pictures - maybe even invite the lady on her show!

ELLEN would love that - can you imagine, esp with the Oprah and Bill Cosby. Ellen loves a good tacky display.

I promise I'm not paranoid, it was when I was using the window scraper to clean the front walk (just SO sick of the snow) that's when I stopped and thought, oh, this would look strange if someone were watching.

I have been told by friends and coworkers that we should send photos to Leno, Letterman, Oprah, and Ellen. For the life of me, I just can't find it in me to do it. I am afraid of her getting her feelings hurt or stopping altogether. I love the displays. I NEED the entertainment.
