I remember when we used to go to Sea World with the kids, we saw that Sea Lion show every year (probably saw it at least four times). How very nice of the CM's to let you sit down lower for your mama.

Sounds like you had fun at SeaWorld. We have decided not to go there this year as we are doing MVMCP and so far no discounts on room or dining. Ugh...the thought of paying full price is not good but we are still doing it...it is our Christmas this year!

We loved the sea lion show also! We went this summer and had to wait in a really long line for the penguins. It was raining and we were soaked. The ride was not worth it. It was ok, but not what it was hyped up to be. The real penguins at the end of the ride were nice, but we were WET and it was 32 degrees!

So no big rides???? Manta and Kraken are awesome. The only things I really love about seaworld. We walked right on both rides, no wait at all. That is the good thing about the new penguin ride, everyone is waiting in line for it!! We won't be back to Seaworld for a while. Its ok, but not on my must do list! Back to Disney for us.

Congratulations on your top 10 status! I have to admit I had no idea there was a top 10. What kind of DISer am I? As far as the boss - my lips are sealed.

And speaking of seals, oops I mean sea lions, loved the update. It really makes me want to venture over to Seaworld sooner than later.

Sea World looks like a lot of fun! One of these days I am gonna have to get over there! Glad you all got to see the sea lion show! I thought at first they were seals lol. My sea creature knowledge is limited to local animals. We have a great white shark off the coast of the cape this week.

Yay for Top 10! I really like Seaworld....Manta and Kraken are great rides...too bad you couldn't ride the Penguin ride. Love the sea lion show!

I have only been to Sea World once as a child, but I vividly remember how much I LOVED the sea lion show...they get those crazy seals and walruses to do some funny antics!

Note to self: will have to wait until closer to lunch time to get meal plan armband.

The Sea lion show was so cute and funny! We had a mime making fun of people (not in a bad way) and we were rolling laughing so hard!

I'm glad they were accommodating to Mamma!

Looks like fun at Sea World.... My mom wanted to do that when we were there and now, I wish we would have... It was just more money than what I wanted to spend.

Now, get back To Disney... Sea World is nice and all but lets all face it, it's just not Disney!! ))

Great update! Bummer about not seeing the penguins, and its crazy that there is no soft opening!

I love the sea lion show! I just love seeing the sea lions perform all of those cool tricks!

I thought that there may be a soft opening but it was a no go.

That is so weird they didn't do a soft opening for the penguin exhibit.

Yay for the Sea Lion show, and the employee letting you guys sit up front for Mama's sake!

I was really glad that the castmembers were so accommodating and let us sit down front even if it were way to the side.

Thanks for the info. It makes me feel a little better that we didn't get to go into the new penguin exhibit.

No big rides with Mama along. I didn't want to make her wait while we did any of the rides. We still had the Disney portion of the trip ahead and there would be enough of her waiting for us there.

It'll be a while before we go back to Sea World too. Don't get me wrong, it was fun but it's not an every trip kind of park for us.

To bad for MaMa as I know it is not a vacation without her. At 65 I find I can not keep up with young legs. This year Linda and I went on our own more then before. Just standing is the worst. We were in line for Dole Whip for ten minutes that was not moving and decided to just head back to CBR without one. Someday?

Mama travels with us quite frequently so we know her limitations. I have to agree with her on this one. She probably won't go back. Like you, the standing is the worst for her. She is fine as long as she keeps moving along but even the walking gets to her after a long day.
