1 crazy family+2 resorts+5 parks+1 snake+1 surprise=A Mickeystoontown report 4/3x2

Standing near the entrance of the castle looking down Main Street:

This is a really neat picture! I have never thought of taking a picture from this perspective. Cool!

Boo to your last day! I feel like it can't be already.

I have really loved each and every one of your CBR pictures. I know I keep saying this - but that entire resort is just SO lovely!

I look forward to hearing about your plans for this summer!

Sorry I somehow missed your Epcot post?!?!

I love all your silly faces, you can tell you had lots of fun :rotfl2:

Oh no it doesn't seem that you've been there 10 days, what a nice tradition to finish a MK though :goodvibes

First....Happy Valentine's Day! Second..No no no! I cannot be the last day! Whatever am I going to read until your next trip report? I'm hoping the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will be in soft opening for my trip!

Last day already? Never any fun, and it always come too fast no matter how long the trip is.
I can't wait for the coaster to open! From the pictures, there is so much progress already, just since I was there last. Opening with the new parade would be exciting

Love your stuck faces! Spaceship Earth is usually our end of the day ride because it is almost always walk-on. In the mornings when the lines are really long, I want to yell at the people "Your missing the good stuff for a late day walk-on ride" but I don't...helps me in my touring!! :rotfl:

Ahh...L-Day...the sad day!! But the day looks beautiful so for and what better place than MK to spend it!

Hi Lisa! I just wanted to tell you that I've been lurking around on this site for awhile, and I've recently read all of your trip reports! Just wanted to say that you do a great job with your reports, and your family seems a lot like mine, you all seem to have so much fun! We are planning a trip for this May as well, that's how I found your reports....you are making me excited for our trip! Haven't been to WDW since 2001! Anyway thanks for keeping me entertained over this L-O-N-G crazy winter, and can't wait to read about your next trip!

Love that lobster pasta at Coral Reef. I am drooling now. LOL
The desserts look good. Unfortunately since the surgery they seem to be the easiest to eat. 
I find SE so hard to photograph.
Nice pics on SE.
Those skies look gorgeous and wishing I was there right now.
All caught up again.

Love Spaceship Earth. And while John made not have made "stuck faces" on the ride, he made up for it in the photopass shoot.

Love hitting the MK the last day of the trip. I'm with you...I hope the Mine train is open in May/June when we are there.

Not L-Day already! :worried:

Love your castle pics. I never get tired of pictures of it. The shot looking down Main Street is great too! Can't wait for the Mine Train roller coaster. I hope it's open by the time you go in May!

Sadly looking forward to hearing about the rest of L-Day.

Loved all of your Epcot photopass pix!
:sad2: for L day. Really hate it when that day comes. What is always worse is the envelope that is slid under your door the day before L day. It's like a big "slap in the face reminder" of L day!
I love how you go around the resort taking photos on the last morning. I do the same thing. It's like you just have to take it all in one last time before being able to let go.
MK is a great place to spend your last day.

I sure hope I can see the new parade in march. Have you heard an official date yet? I have not been keeping up, but I thought it was supposed to be mid march. I have heard the Train is scheduled for April...but they may start doing previews soon.

Your Epcot day looks great. I do need to work on my funny faces. My dd is always saying they aren't funny enough. To bad L day has to come. Glad to hear you spend it at MK. I like the pics of the walls. It is nice that Disney keeps the magic going when they go up. Can't wait to read more.

Work on those funny faces before you go back! :thumbsup2 It's crazy that even the construction walls around the mine train are nice to look at.

This is a really neat picture! I have never thought of taking a picture from this perspective. Cool!

Mary Ellen, every time I think about staying at another resort, I look back at the CBR pictures and think "nah, we'll stick with our favorite".

Sorry I somehow missed your Epcot post?!?!

Yep, it's the last official day at Disney. :guilty:

First....Happy Valentine's Day! Second..No no no! I cannot be the last day! Whatever am I going to read until your next trip report? I'm hoping the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will be in soft opening for my trip!

Thank You! Well, we head back to Disney in just a little over 90 days so there'll be another report soon!

I know! I hate it when the last day creeps up on you like that. Makes me sad.

That's what I always say! I want to tell those folks "get outta the Spaceship Earth line and run for Soarin'!"

Hey! Thanks for coming out of lurkdom! I really appreciate the compliments. We have such a great time together and I am sure that shows in or pictures.

If you're going May, you don't have long to wait! There are all sorts of new things that have happened since your last trip. I can see why you are anxious to get back there!

Please feel free to comment whenever you want!

I wish that I were in Disney right now too!

John is so funny....we tell him when to make the face and he can't hear us so he ends up just standing/sitting there looking normal while the rest of us look crazy.

Not L-Day already! :worried:

Yep, L-Day!

I hope that it's open when we get there the last week of May. Definitely keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it is.

Awww I always hate when the last day comes !

Meeeeee too!

Loved all of your Epcot photopass pix!

MK is a great place to spend your last day.

That's exactly how I feel....got to take as many pictures as I can before we leave.

I sure hope I can see the new parade in march. Have you heard an official date yet? I have not been keeping up, but I thought it was supposed to be mid march. I have heard the Train is scheduled for April...but they may start doing previews soon.

Crap! I wish that I could remember where I read a rumor about when the parade is set to debut but I simply can't remember.

If any of ya'll are still out there, please accept my apologies for not posting for a whole week. To say that I've had a challenging last week is an understatement. Some major and disconcerting issues arose last Friday and we've been dealing with those. Fortunately, it's going to work itself out. Unfortunately, it will be several months before it's over and done with. No need to go into specifics but let's just say that prayers would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you who are Facebook friends, you may already know that I narrowly escaped death earlier this week. No exaggeration!

During my lunch hour on Monday, I pulled into the parking space one space down from our office doors. I stepped out of my car, walked to our office door, punched in the code and as my hand was on the door, I heard two loud booms. I stepped inside the door and still had my hand on the door when I heard two more booms and then felt the entire building shake. I screamed and put my head outside the door and saw that someone had run into our building.

Had I not stepped inside the door when I did, the driver would have hit me right there on the sidewalk. Had he not turned as sharp as he did, he would have plowed through our two wooden doors and I would have still been hit. Had I been parked in the spot right in front of our doors, he would have hit my car too.

The driver hit not one, not two, but three cars who were parked on the side of the road, hit a parking meter pole and took out the large metal pole that supports our balcony. Two of the cars were totaled. The other had damage too. Two of the cars were hit with such force that they were pushed up against the sidewalk and their rims and hubcabs were dented and scrapped.

I took a few pictures of his truck but didn't get pictures of the cars.

My white CX7 parked on the left side of the picture. Before I moved the car (after the crash), my back bumper was just slightly to the left of where the two gentlemen were standing:

I was standing just inside the red door on the right when he hit:

Annnnyway, ya'll forgive my absence. I hope to get an update posted either this afternoon or tomorrow. It all depends on whether or not things slow down at the office. I will be back, I promise!

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! :scared1: I know that had to be scary. I am glad that you didn't get hurt and that you are ok. And I am glad your Scar is ok!! :) Of course we forgive you for not posting, things look a little hectic. Be safe!
