I was making a reservation online to Disneyland and they have 1 bedroom's listed. Of course, there isn't anything online or on paper about points. When I called MS-for the 4 days I would be there the 1 bedroom would be 300 pts!! Way to expensive for my points for that time frame. Does anyone know why these 1 bedroom suites are so special at the Grand Californian etc?:confused3

The point conversion to Disneyland has always be outlandish IMHO. I would recommend booking a cash reservation and renting your points out here to cover the cost. You might even come out ahead...

That's not a bad idea, but I figured a regular room would be ok for us. You would think there would be something posted about all types of rooms they offer, but I didn't see anything.

The suites at the GC are very expensive. They are because they ARE! We have stayed in them and like the suites at the Disneyland hotel much better. they are a lot bigger. The GC suites have nice balconies, but they are very small IMO! The points are probably not that far off.

Keep in mind that these are not the same as 1BR villas- they are suites similar to those at GF. Very luxurious and very pricey.
