1 bedroom safe size?

not sure where to find this info so figured I'd ask you guys.....

my daughter wants to bring her Dell laptop on our upcoming trip... how big is the safe and what's the largest size laptop to fit inside? last question - if your laptop didn't fit in the safe, how did you secure it during your stay?

We always just leave ours out on the table and hooked up.

I don't think it's big enough for a laptop. I use a cable lock on mine, you can get it at places like Best Buy. I loop the cable around the end table in the living room (above the bar). You could also put it inside a suitcase. I'm not so trusting to just leave it out. You would think you only have to worry about housekeeping days but once we had maintenance come in to measure a broken window at OKW (a temporary plastic window was in it).

I have left my laptop out on the table or just put it in its case and put it inside my suitcase. You can also secure it with a laptop lock if that made you feel more comfortable.

Add me to this group, I take mine everywhere and have never locked it up. Usually leave it on the table with the screen saver going. Since everything is passworded the average mousekeeper would not be able to use it and they know this. Not a gig on house keepers just it takes more than a little pc knowledge to get through a bios password. Read in PC world that they are more likely to be stollen if turned off and in a pc case. A lock and cable is the best bet if you want to feel secure, the glue on kind are better than the ones that just plug into a little port on the side..

thanks guys! my daughter's a little paranoid ( she just got it as a college graduation gift) so we'll grab a lock to make her feel better......
